Part 40 Secure her life

Angela had Jasmine's head on her lap, Donnie had gotten a wet cloth to place on her forehead while the others were talking about this whole situation happening right under there feet, this wasn't something that the poor girl had been mentally prepared for... She had just spoken her life to be freed from that crazy and greedy couple while some time back slipping away from a crazy teen who wanted to keep rapping her "I'll call for someone to examine her mentally to see it through for her freedom" Donnie said and left to make a call "I'll start looking for Casey and his class so we can make sure they keep away" Swift said as he with his brother's left.

Mikey watched Jas with a pained look, the whole life she lived was nothing but pain and he just wanted to help her out of it all... But how could he do that when all of this was happening so quickly before his eyes "Let's also focus on her health, we don't know how she'll react to all of this when she wakes up so we need to have her ready for all of this" Tiffany explained making them nod in agreement as Mikey then carried her to his room, he got her on the bed as she slowly began to wake up "Hey, how are you feeling now?" he asked while helping her to sit up slowly with her back leaning on the wall, Jasmine was quiet at first almost like she was thinking about something.

"It's really happening, there going to force me to go back with them aren't they?" she asked without expecting an answer from Mikey at all, this made him worry for Michelangelo had no idea of what to even say right now about all of this as instead all he could do was sit down and hold her in his arms while praying in his head for god to help them keep Jas safe, he just wished he could do more then simply pray since he felt so weak and useless at the moment "I'll go in the kitchen and make you something light to eat alright? Just try and get some rest until I get back" he said which made her nod as he then walked out of the room and towards the kitchen as Donnie came in for some coffee.

"Got something?" he asked as his brother began pouring the bitter brew into his mug "Yes, I have our doctor coming over to see her. I explained to him what her fake and greedy parents claimed and the result will get if they get there hands on her, so he cancelled everything to come and see her" Donatello explained making Mikey nod "I'll let her know then" he said while taking the tray back to his room, he got inside as Jas was about to sleep making him set it down in her level of view which made her smile as she sat up to eat... While he explained what Donnie did to help with her fake parents once and for all, she nodded the whole time in agreement which told him that she was fine with it all.

When she was done eating, he took the tray and brought it to the kitchen while she waited outside his room so he could then take her to the couch as the doctor then walked in to see her, he didn't look new to his work or even close to retire as he sat down before her and explained the basic of what he would do in order to figure out her condition, Mikey walked outside where everyone else was at the moment... And was surprised to seeing the police, Jasmine's fake parents, her old class, her old teacher and Casey there, they were demanding for Jas to come out so she could come with them where they call her home, but his brother's weren't letting them with the claims that they had no rights to force her to come with them.

They began to yell further demands, but no one was moving the whole time "That's enough!" they all turned to the doctor who turned to the couple with an angry glare and look at the police "You can call the judge to continue with the situation, I just confirmed that miss Jasmine is healthy and has no problem that they claimed" he said making the officers nod, make the call and took the couple away the doctor spoke to the brother's and left for work leaving only the class and teacher with Casey there demanding Jas "Casey tricked our principal to approve this! She doesn't want to go with you so she won't! If you have a problem with that then jump off a bridge!" Veronica growled and went back inside in a huff.

When she got to the floor she knew very well, she found Jasmine laying on the couch watching TV, very slowly she walked over to the girl "He said that seeing a therapist would help me get over everything that happened since i'm bottling it all up" Jasmine's voice wasn't all that quiet in fact Veronica could hear it even with how far she was from the couch "He suggested I talk to Donnie about first for his opinion on it and that then figure out my next step once it happens" Jas continued talking about what the doctor said as Veronica walked over to the girl with a smile... Happy at how Jasmine was doing even just a bit from all of this.

The groupe came in an hour later, the cops had to come back to get the group to leave by force but they were gone for now at least so that was a good thing to say the least, Mikey then noticed something on the couch and smiled at finding Veronica holding Jasmine in her arms as the two slept while the TV was on some random movie that looked boring enough to have made them go to sleep "What do you think happened between her and the doctor?" Tiffany asked as to there surprise Veronica opened her eyes and looked towards Donatello "She's going to ask you about her meeting a therapist, the doctor said it would help her un bottle everything she kept to herself" she said before closing her eyes once more... As everyone smiled at the good news that came at last to them.
