I was So happy I could now see if Karly liked what she use to like as a child.. If she was still that sweet little girl i used to know...my Karly.
Me and kayly walked down the hall both silent at first but of course the silence ended just like it had since she was a child... by asking questions. “Umm...so..Skyla can you please tell me more about this little girl you keep talking about?”
I smiled wide .sure what could it hurt for her to actually know what she was like as a child “Sure, Let me think...She loves Cats & kitten, gemstones, talking..My she’s a talked!” I laughed remembering how much Karly used to talk.
Karly hesitated looking like someone doing a hard puzzle not knowing where the peices fit, then answered “I see can...Can you please give this to her for me?”
Karly handed me A pinkish red ruby that was in the shape of a heart.She then continued to dig around in her pocket
“Oh and this to”
It was a piece of Alexandrite _...No_ My heart sunk it was I who gave Karly the Gemstones that she just handed me I knew because the Alexandrite was SO rare..so hard to find... And the ruby....I found it also.. I got it shaped especially for Karly.
She loved How the pinkish red ruby looked in the sun...after i went mining to find some stones for her,when i arrived home i put the bag of stones right next to my chair,accidently leaving the ruby in plain sight, instantly she snuck over grabbing it
i wanted to take it off her... But she loved the ruby so much..i couldn’t bear to even take it from a minute..so i gave it to her.
I then gave her the Alexandrite for her birthday because it is unique like her.'
“But..this looks like something that would be special to you”... I frowned deeply,trying to tell myself not to cry.
“Well...”Karly shrugged her shoulders. “I’m not actually sure..I’ve had it since I can remember but I..don’t ..live with my mother or my family so i have no way of finding out who i got them from....so i thought i would give them to someone else..Although i ‘m just warning you...i may try getting them back...”
I smiled slightly Feeling rather happy that Karly still thought they were special even though she didn’t remember why , least she knew in her heart that the stone’s were somehow special
“well...how’s about i Mind them for you?,incase you want them...”
Karly smiled up at me happily. “wow....really!are you sure!? Thanks that would be great!”
I couldn’t help it.within seconds I had embraced Karly in a hug , her head rested lightly on my chest and my hand on the small of her back holding her to me. I watched her in my embrace, watching her eyes go wide.
“Karly...I ruined this.. But i can’t take it anymore...look... don’t you remember me at all, not even a little?” I used my real voice so she would realise..least i hoped she would.
Karly’s bright blue eyes widened even more” B-but...you can’t be!”she all but gasped “your..your the boy that....But your hair is a normal colour! Its brown! Its not red and white! ...And your eyes they are a darker emrald green not as light ,not as noticible..you look so normal now..”
My brows knoted together in confusion “wait ,what?” I was now the one that was confused. Kayly burst out,All but yelling "YOU said you would protect me from the night that you would keep away its dreadful Bite that we would meet soon.
Karly looked at her feet and whispered the rest. ‘that you would meet me soon..Now go...get out of this dreadful place, awake lovely Karly and soon you will meet your fate.”she whisperd the rest word for word.
