We spent the evening together. It was really fun. I got to know him so much better. I liked him. But we are just friends. I think it's better that way.
When it was commercials at the film we watched, he turned to me and looked at me.
"What?" I said.
"I like you." he said.
"Yeah, but we're just friends." I said.
"Why?" he asked and jumped closer to me.
"Because .. I don't know ... it feels best that way." I said and jump a step from him.
"Naww .. you're so boring!" he said.
"Hey, I'm not boring!" I laughed and punched him lightly on the shoulder.
When the film was over, I decided to go home. I stood in the hallway and looked for my shoes when Brent came.
"OK, is there anything that I have learned from that movie, it's taking chances before they float away." he said.
"Huh?" I asked confused.
"If you just give me a chance and I'll prove to you that you can fall in love in a day, I know, because I have been falling in love with you." he said.
I looked at him. That's it. I had fallen for him. I walked up to him. His brown eyes sparkled magically.
"Can I kiss you ?" he asked.
"Sure." I said putting my arms around his neck.
He quickly pulled me near her and kissed me.
"I think you're right. I might be in love with you." I said after finishing the kiss.
"But we've only known each other for a few days." he teased me.
"I know." I said. He smiled at me and kissed me again. We moved into the living room without interrupting the kiss. He pushed me down on the couch so he was on top of me.
Oh no. Where was this going? What is wrong with me? Just because my boyfriend just broke up with me I didn't have to jump in bed with another guy.
I cut off the kiss and he put his forehead against mine.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"I want to take it slow." I said.
"Of coursewe take it slow." he said and smiled.
