"I don't want to be a Gumiho." Yoongi frowned when Woozi said this to him, after having come home from Seokjin's. Yoongi looked up at Seokjin, who shrugged.

"Why don't you want to be a Gumiho, Woozi?" Yoongi asked, crouching down in front of Woozi.

"Because Jeonghan's going to die and I want to die with him." Yoongi continued to frown. Jeonghan was going to die? Was he sick?

"What do you mean?" Woozi began to sniffle again as his eyes grew shiny and he threw his arms around Yoongi, letting out a large sob.

"Jeonghan can't live forever! I don't want to live forever!"

"I'll just leave..." Seokjin said and Yoongi nodded, smiling slightly at him. He then returned his attention back to Woozi, rubbing his back as he cried into his shoulder.

"So, basically, you don't want to live forever?" Woozi nodded, not moving his face from Yoongi's shoulder. "Well... There may be a way for you to become a human..."

"Really??" Woozi looked hopefully up at Yoongi, who shrugged.

"Maybe, but it means you won't be able to eat any hearts..." Although Woozi didn't eat hearts as often as Yoongi, he had inherited a milder version of Yoongi's love for eating hearts. Gumiho puppies also generally felt the cravings worse than adults.

"I'll do anything so I don't live forever." Woozi said, wiping his eyes. "I told Jeonghan we'd be friends forever, and we can't be friends forever if one of us is dead."

"Okay... And you're sure you want to do this?" Woozi nodded. Yoongi sighed slightly and ruffled Woozi's hair. "Alright, kiddo, we'll do this together."

"You won't eat hearts too?" Yoongi nodded and Woozi smiled. "Yay! We can die together!"

"Appa, I'm hungry..." Woozi whined, having not eaten any heart or animal for a couple of days now. Yoongi sighed, feeling sorry for his son. He felt the same though. He'd decided to take the whole going without hearts thing seriously given he was actually going to go the whole way, and he was beginning to feel the symptoms again.

"I'm sorry, Woozi, but think of Jeonghan." Yoongi said as the two lay in bed. He pushed Woozi's hair out of his face and kissed his forehead, while the small boy closed his eyes, frowning.

Jungkook walked into the room, carrying a bag full of sweets he'd bought. Yoongi trusted him now, and he was able to go into town while the others stayed at home.

"I bought some food to distract you from your hunger with." He said as he crawled on to the bed with them. He sat on the other side of Woozi, touching him gently.

"Kookie Appa, I'm hungry..." Woozi said, turning around and hugging Jungkook. At some point, no one was quite sure when, Woozi had started calling Jungkook 'Kookie Appa'.

"I have some sweets." Woozi peered at the bag before crawling from Jungkook's arms and opening up the bag. Woozi then sighed.

"I wish Jeonghan was here to eat this..." He said sadly, slumping his shoulders. Yoongi hated to see his normally hyperactive son so depressed.

"Don't worry, he'll be back tomorrow. We can save some of the sweets, if you want." Woozi nodded, lying back down in his father's arms. Jungkook sat down next to them and held out a piece of candy next to Woozi's face. Woozi stared blankly at it, looking like a sulking child.

"Come on, you need to taste them so you know if they're good enough to feed to Jeonghan." Jungkook said and Woozi slowly opened his mouth, allowing Jungkook to feed him. He sucked on the candy, staring up at Jungkook. "Is it good?"

Woozi nodded before reaching out to Jungkook, wanting him to lie down with him and Yoongi. Yoongi lifted his arm and wrapped it around Jungkook, while Woozi placed his hand on Jungkook's stomach in an attempt to touch both of them. Yoongi smiled as he hugged the other two.

"This is fun. Snuggle time with my two favourite people..." He said before kissing the tops of both their heads. Jungkook smiled while Woozi just lay there.

For a baby who had never gone without a heart before, the withdrawals were hitting him hard. Plus Jeonghan had to go visit his father and hadn't been there for most of the time.

It wasn't fun, but Woozi was determined to last the whole one hundred days.

He would become human for his friend.
