Yoongi and I caught the last train back to Busan after Hoseok's people safely escorted us out of the city. We remained hushed the entire way home because we were too overwhelmed by the dreadful incident. I couldn't get rid of the disturbing image in my head and kept on recalling the loud gunfire and the chubby man... dropping dead on the grass. It's true. I am afraid to talk to Yoongi. He's lost in his mind too.

"Sora, let's go," Yoongi finally spoke to me after the exhausting trip. He helped me onto my feet once we arrived at the station.

"Let's stay at a nearby motel," Yoongi mumbled while holding my hand. I quietly nodded. The street was quite empty, but it was brightly illuminated by the streetlights. We made a short walk to a motel nearby and booked a single bed.

"It's quite spacious," Yoongi muttered after he unlocked the door. Still, I said nothing because I felt numb and tired. Yoongi turned to stare at me with a grim expression as I carefully dropped my bag to the floor and glanced around the unfamiliar room with a restless feeling.

"Come here," Yoongi sighed, pulling me towards the bed to sit beside him. I couldn't look at him. I'm scared.

"Sora, I know it was an unpleasant sight to witness. I'm sorry," Yoongi exhaled, gently squeezing my hands.

"I-I'm fine," I whispered, keeping my head low.

"No, you're not. Look at me. We'll be alright, okay?" He cupped my cheeks between his hands. Suddenly, I felt tears building up in my eyes as the overwhelming emotions swelled within my stuffy chest, and before I even knew it, the burning hot tears made their way down my cheeks.

"I-I'm scared," I sobbed quietly.

"I know, but you'll be alright. I promise," Yoongi exhaled, pulling me into a tight hug as I cried in distress. It was too much to take in. I am scared for Yoongi. And I'm scared of the alphas. Are we really safe out here? What if he's turning into them?

"We're fine now. We'll live our lives and be happy," Yoongi sighed, pulling away from me. He leaned forward to brush his lips against mine, so I nodded as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I love you," I whispered, breaking the kiss. My love for him is unconditional. I don't care if he killed that man. I don't care if he's a murderer.

"I love you too," Yoongi responded with his forehead rested against mine, softly panting against my face with his comforting warmth.

"We should wash up. Let's get your bruises cleaned before you get a scar," I smiled, giving Yoongi a soft peck on the lips.

"Ahh..." Yoongi grimaced as I softly dabbed his split lips.

"Stop being so whiney," I laughed at him.

Fast Forward

Yoongi and I remained in Busan for about a week after our escape. We were relatively safe; nothing unusual occurred, so I didn't feel as restless as the day we first arrived. Nevertheless, we had to stay cautious of our surroundings and environment, as the alphas and the Mins might still be searching for us.

"Hajima!" Yoongi laughed when I kept on poking his cheek.

"Come on! Let's go," I smiled at him, slightly dragging him over the sidewalk during an evening stroll.

"Araso," Yoongi grinned as we strolled into the pojangmacha stall. I've been craving gopchang and tteokbokki.

"Imo!!! Please bring us two sets of gopchang and tteokbokki please!!!" I yelled and sat down with Yoongi.
