"Jungkook! Behave yourself!" Mr. Jeon snapped at his son's sudden outburst. I sat staring at Mr. Jeon in shock, paralyzed by the unexpected news. Jimin was staring at me with his mouth slightly ajar while Taehyung glanced back and forth in confusion.
"SHE'S NOT EVEN AN ALPHA!" Jungkook ignored his father and stared at me in disbelief. He's right. I'm not an alpha.
"Sit down," Taehyung sighed, pulling Jungkook back onto his seat.
"Of course, she's not an alpha," Mr. Jeon nodded toward me. What's this? I'm gonna get trampled on by the higher ranks! That's even worse than getting bullied by the average!
"Who's gonna pay for her tuition?! Even if she sold all her properties- she can't even afford to pay for half the school year!" Jungkook argued. Why is he so upset??
"I will handle her tuition and expenses," Mr. Jeon announced.
"No! Please reconsider my transfer! I can remain at my current-"
"It's okay, Sora-shi. We've already registered you in the university," Mr. Jeon cut me short, causing me to pause in shock. I stared at the man with my lips ajar and glanced at the elders as they warmly smiled at me. What the... How will eomma and appa pay back all the debt?
"Why are you being so nice to her? Do you owe her your life or something?" Jungkook groaned, glancing away in frustration. I'm anxious... this doesn't feel right.
"I guess so, thanks to her father I'm here today. Alive," Mr. Jeon smiled at me again. Oh? Really? I don't remember anything though?
"Jungkook is right. Sora shouldn't attend our university," Taehyung finally spoke up in a dull voice. I don't want to attend the crazy academy. I could never focus on anything if I did.
"Taehyung-ah this isn't just something we came up with off the top of our heads. We've been consulting the matter with her parents," Mrs. Kim exhaled. She seemed worried though. What's going on? Why did my parents agree to this? We'll forever be in debt to these wealthy people if we rely on their resources!
"You said she shouldn't be involved, now you're placing her into the den? How's that safe for her?" Taehyung asked. He turned to stare sharply at Mr. Jeon as he clenched his fist.
"Thanks to you Taehyung, she's already in the game. If you haven't heard, the other alphas are investigating her identity," Mr. Jeon clasped his hands together. Investigating me?... Oh. Yoongi. He's in danger...
"What about Yoongi-shi?" Taehyung swallowed anxiously. I turned to look at Taehyung in surprise. Did he really think of Yoongi?
"We'll station people to look after him too because he's important to Sora. We won't let anyone harm anyone important to Sora," Mr. Kim sighs deeply. Taehyung grew quiet and kept on staring at his hands.
"How can she study with the alphas while being powerless-"
"No, who said she's studying with the Alphas? She's an average so she'll be studying with the lower ranks," Mr. Jeon shook his head.
"So she's studying in a separate building?" Taehyung asked, turning to look at me with this worried look.
"Yes, she will." Mr. Jeon stated shortly.
"But-"
"Taehyung-ah don't worry. Sora has us. No one will harm her- I think it's a good decision because we can watch over her throughout the day," Jimin reassured his friend.
