The six steps to say I love you (Fred X Reader X George)

1- Leave her a note

George smiled as he placed the rose on the floor by Y/N's door. He checked the note twice before he rattled his knuckles to the door and shuffled away to find somewhere to secretly observe Y/N. As she opened the door, she was confused, seeing nobody there. She was about to go back inside when she saw a flower on the floor; an unusual occurrence to say the least. She picked it up and read the letter in her head, blushing.
'Roses are red, Violets are blue, Hey! I like you, you are really, really cute -GW'

2- Give her presents

Fred hurried back for Hogsmead, a bag tightly held in his arms as he raced inside to his room. He was alone so he took out the box of fresh chocolates. He smiled at the gift that her was beginning to carefully wrap for Y/N, secretly, of course. He couldn't let anybody know. He knew Y/N never went to Hogsmede and that everyone else would be returning soon so he made the trip to her room. He placed the box on her doormat and knocked the door, running back to his room, too scared to see if she opened the door. He had left a note on the box that read: 'Baby, it's snowing but I don't mind stay in my arms I'll hold you al night. -FW'

3- Send her a message

George smirked as he looked on as the owl flew into the great hall. It flew over Y/N's head before dropping off the letter. She looked surprised, picking up the letter, searching around for the sender. Teases from her friends came and she blushed as she read it.
'Y/N you are beautiful. You are kind and sweet. You are really rather funny and you look like a treat. -GW'

4- asking her out
Fred and George both looked at each other and back at Y/N. Fred mined something to George, which he immediately relayed back to his brother. Fred shot a look at his brother before he threw a paper ball across the classroom, it landing upon Y/N's desk. She went to open it but it was snatched from her hands by Professor Snape.
"Passing notes in my class, are we. Let's see what it says." He snarled. Fred gulped. "My dearest Y/N, will you please go on a date with me this evening. Meet me in the astrology tower at midnight where we can g- Mr.Weasley! This is highly inappropriate! You both have detention!" Snape shrieked. Y/N sunk into her seat hiding her reddening face from her peers and they all sniggered and laughed. As she left the potions room, she shot Fred a death glare.
"Nice going, mate." George patter his brother's shoulder.

5- asking her out successfully

George smiled as he fixed up his coat and smelled the rose that he had bought for Y/N one final time. Heart racing, he knocked on her dorm and waited for a reply. He knew she would be the only one in as the rest of her friends would be at the Ravenclaw party happening in the courtyard. When she answered the door, wearing only a long t-shirt and over the knee socks, George and Y/N blushed. He held out the rose and she took it, all in silence until George finally spoke.
"Roses are red, violets are blue and it doesn't rhyme but will you be my girlfriend?"

6- tell her you love her

Fred laughed as him and Y/N sat quietly on the bed, showing each other pictures from their childhood. They were laying around, having a lazy day when three words just slipped out.
"I love you." He said.
