"Hey, Y/N." George smiled as I waited outside the dining hall for him. I hugged him tightly, trying to fight back the tears. But he noticed, straight away that I was not in a good mood.
"Baby, what wrong." He asked, softly, looking down into my eyes. I shook my head, pulling out of the hug, a fake smile plastered on my lips.
    "Nothing."
"Baby, please." He said. He could always tell when I was lying, or sad or angry. He could just read me and I was the same about him. I always knew he was sad before he knew himself.
"Nothing. It's just," I sighed, "Ginny, I guess. I know she hates me. I try and be nice to her and I say hi and I smile but she is just...mean back. And I'm just thinks about why you're dating me- am I really that bad of a person or am I mean or unkind? Do I hurt people because I don't mean to-"
"No, baby. You're none of those things. I love you, okay." He reassured me. I looked down, not believing him. He just kissed my head and walked into the hall with me, cracking terrible jokes to make me laugh. We passed the Gryffindor table and where George would sit. He sat at the table next to his brother and I quickly kissed his head.
"Hey guys. Have a good day. Bye George, see you later." I walked away towards my house table, but not far enough to hear Ginny make a noise and another snide comment. I took a deep breath, trying not to cry but I couldn't help it. I ran out of the dining room, a faint cry coming from my lips.
"Y/N." I heard George yell after me but I didn't stop. I ran from the hall and outside to the grounds. I ran down to the lake, and along the edge until it fortunes into a meadow. We weren't meant to be this far from school but I didn't care.
"Baby." A voice called softly from behind me. I must have been sat there for at least half and hour alone and the sudden voice startled me but I instantly recognised the voice- George.
"What?" I replied. He sat down beside me and I instinctively rested my head on his shoulder, letting his arm wrap around my waist.
"I'm really sorry. I'm so sorry baby. Ginny is bang out of order." His voice was apologetic but it shouldn't be him who was apologising.
"It's okay. It's not your fault. I just don't get why she hates me so much." I explained snuggling closer to him. He smelt good, like honey and wine, and I didn't want it to end. I could tell from his eventual sigh that he didn't have an answer for me, not that I expected one.
"Tell me," I broke the silence a few moments later, "about your family, again. Please." George smiled. I always asked him to tell me about his family because I never really had one and I loved to think that there was love out there, somewhere.
"My oldest brother Bill works out in Egypt. He does bank work-it's boring really. We do miss him tho. And then there's Charlie."
"He's the one who lives and works out in Romania with dragons, right?" I asked. My boyfriend nodded, happy that I could remember.
"Then there's Percy. Total snob and a bit of an arse, really. Then me and Fred, as you know. Best looking, worst behaving and definitely the funniest of the Weasley bunch." He joked, making me smile even more. "Then we have Ron and Ginny. They are the most boring. Ginny has a bit more fire to her, I'll give my baby sister that." He laughed. "But we love each other really, despite the amount we argue and fight and bicker."
"I love you." I whispered. He captured my soft lips in his chapped one, placing one of his big palms on my cheek.
"I love you, too."
