Chapter 15

Itachi's POV

As I walked down the hall I heard Sasuke walking behind me.

"Tell me what happened to her!" Sasuke yelled.

I continued to walk outside and he still followed me. Once I knew we were good I decided to speak.

"I want us to get along, Sasuke. For (Y/n)." I said.

"What the hell for?" He asked.

"I know she's been closer to Tobi than any of us since he's been the one watching her this entire time, and seeing him leave upsets her. I know it would make her happy to see us getting along." I said.

"What's in it for me? I still haven't forgotten what you did to our clan." He said, clenching his fists.

"Sasuke, I think it's time I tell you the truth." I told Sasuke everything I could.

I saw him clenching his fists and his jaw. He started crying. I know he still hates me, but he also understands. He took a while to process everything, I hope he forgives me.

"I will kill Danzo and everyone else." Sasuke said as he kept clenching his fists.

"I don't care if you kill Danzo, but don't forget not everyone was at fault. Just Danzo. So will you do this for (Y/n)?" I asked.

"I'll do it, for (Y/n)." Sasuke said.

"I don't know if you still hate me, but if you don't and you don't want everyone else to know we're on good terms now then we can act like we hate each other." I stated.

Sasuke sighed and nodded his head.

"Fine. I'm only doing this for her, I just need time to process everything." Sasuke said.

"Understood."

The walk back to the hideout was quiet for a minute.

"That guy.. with the mask. Who is he? And why is (Y/n) so close to him?" Sasuke asked.

"Tobi. He's one of the Akatsuki members. He doesn't go out on missions as much as the others do, so he was put in charge of watching over (Y/n) majority of the time." I said.

"I don't really like how close they are. Makes it look like there's something going on between them." Sasuke sounded mad.

"We'll never know until they confirm it." I tried to reassure him.

"I know you still have feelings for her. I've noticed since we were kids, just like I've noticed everyone else has feelings for her too." Sasuke was starting to give me a dirty look.

I gave him a dirty look as well from the corner of my eye.

"I care about her." Was the only thing I said.

"Sure." Sasuke said, rolling his eyes.

"I do have feelings for (Y/n)." I thought to myself.
