Chapter 9

3rd Person POV

Naruto and the others reached the hideout of the Akatsuki. It was early in the morning and they all stayed away from the entrance until they went over the plan and everyone understood.

"Okay, let's go over this one last time. Naruto, you ready?" Master Jiraiya asked, turning to face Naruto.

"Ready as I'll ever be." Naruto responded.

As Master Jiraiya explained the plan one more time (Y/n) was getting ready to leave the base with Tobi to go on their usual walk. Everyone got in position as Naruto walked towards the entrance of the base and it was at that exact moment Tobi and (Y/n) we're walking out too.

"N-Naruto.!?" (Y/n) asked in disbelief.

Her eyes grew wide as tears started forming in her eyes.

Naruto looked at (Y/n) then at Tobi.

"Alright a deals a deal." Naruto said looking angry.

Nobody in the Akatsuki knew Naruto was coming, nor did Naruto and the others expected someone to come out with (Y/n), so Naruto went with his instinct.

"Hmm this wasn't part of the plan, Kakashi-" Master Jiraiya was interrupted.

"Don't worry, I'm sure Naruto can handle this." Kakashi Sensei reassured Master Jiraiya.

"Hn." Sasuke said as he leaped towards Naruto.

"Sasuke, no!" Sakura whisper yelled at Sasuke.

"What the hell does he think he's doing?" Master Jiraiya thought to himself.

"The deal was Naruto turns himself in and the girl comes back with us, so hand her over." Sasuke demanded.

"Sasuke.." (Y/n) said as a tear rolled down her cheek.

Tobi hadn't said a single word at all. Everyone stared at Tobi while (Y/n) kept her eyes fixated at Naruto and Sasuke.

"I know you're not alone." Tobi said in his Madara voice.

(Y/n)'s eyes widen as she looked at Tobi very confused. She remembers hearing this voice before, but she just thought it was all in her head.

"As if I didn't see you the other day spying on the hideout, but yes you're right a deal is a deal. First, hand over the nine-tails." Tobi said in that deep voice.

"Wait, they were here the other day? Spying on us.." (Y/n) thought to herself with a puzzled look forming her face. "What the hell is going on?"

Naruto walks towards Tobi and (Y/n). Tobi motioned (Y/n) to start walking towards Sasuke. (Y/n) and Naruto met face to face. Naruto was still angry as for (Y/n) who had a sad face. They both walked past each other, Naruto walked towards Tobi and (Y/n) towards Sasuke. Naruto turned around to face (Y/n), but she had her back towards him as she started to cry.

"I-I'm s-sorry Naruto! This wasn't suppose to happen. This isn't how it's suppose to end!" (Y/n) said through her tears.
