Amy's Pov

Mark wrapped me up in a new blanket, he called Carl and made him put the house on lockdown. No one is to leave or go on their phone. When Gail arrived he had Bryan watch me as he took off downstairs.

"This all has to be scary for you."

I nodded my head.

"I am not going to hurt you, trust me I am not that stupid. I had to clean up what was left of Pasty."

"What did he do to him?"

"He will kill me if I told you."

"This is true."

"I am actually happy for you guys, having a  kid run around here will be fun. I can teach him or her how to shoot a gun."

"Can you teach me more? I only had one lesson."

"I need to ask Mark first but I think he will approve. Anything to help keep you safe he is okay with."

"YOU GOT TO BE SHITTEN ME!" Mark screamed causing Bryan to pull his gun out and guard the door.

"What do you think happened?" I asked hiding behind the blanket.

"knowing James, it can be anything."

"And now since he knows I am with Mark's child. He will do anything to hurt me."

"He is not going to get anywhere near you, Mark practically sold his soul to make sure you two are not hurt."

"If we do get hurt?"

He looked at me, "I feel sorry for the asshole who does, Mark will show no mercy to end theirs and every family member in the family tree's life."

I hugged my knees, we watched the door to see if anyone would come in. It took a while but Mark came in.

"Gun down." He said walking in, Bryan looked behind him then closed the door. He put his gun away but stayed in the room.

"What happened?" I asked reaching for him.

He sat next to me picking me up having me sit on his lap.

"James has his vision back, he paid to get them fixed. It is not 100% but he is able to see again."

"Is that why you screamed?"

"Yeah, Gail is talking to him now telling him that if anyone finds out that you are pregnant then it will be more then his eyesight he will lose this time. I have been told to step down for a little."

"What does that mean?" I looked up at him but he was looking at the wall ahead.

"It means, that Gail wants me to tell everyone that you are sick and I am to cut back on the deals so I can take care of you."

"You don't think they will believe it?"

He looked down at me.

"No, they will know something is going on and will try to find out what it is."

"Then let's wait until after the dinner to say something, or we can use it to leave early."

He kissed the top of my head holding me tight.

"The jacket covers your growing belly," Mark said wrapping his arms around me.

" The girls are going to know."

"We will not stay long."

"I don't want to go at all."
