A MYSTERIOUS POWER

Two weeks have passed since then and Aqua was just checking on Ven. It came as a big surprise to her when he opened his eyes. She immediately left to get Terra and Master Eraqus. They were all glad that he was awake but they were getting worried about (y/n) since she still hasn't woken up or even moved.

TIME SKIP

Another three weeks have passed and Ven was already training with his two new friends. He often asked about (y/n) since he wanted to know more about her too. Aqua and Terra always looked sad when talking about her.

Ven had just woken up and was on his way for training when he passed (y/n)'s room. The door was open just enough for him to be able to see in her room. He slowly walked in looking at the girl that was sleeping soundly. For some reason, he looked sad thinking maybe he felt bad for her not being able to be with her friends. Just as he was about to leave he heard a sound from behind him. Ven turned around only to see (y/n) sitting on the bed. He smiled and immediately hurried downstairs to tell everyone else. But this time they didn't let Terra near her so that he wouldn't cause her to collapse with all his questions. (y/n) had a smile on his face greeting everyone when Aqua started crying, hugging her friend. "Are you okay Aqua? How long was I even asleep?" "You didn't wake up for 5 weeks. We were all worried about you" Terra told her. "I'm sorry to have worried you but I'm fine now." "We are all happy that you're okay and that nothing too serious happened. While you were asleep Ventus started training with us." Master Eraqus explained. "Hi, I'm Ventus but you can call me Ven." "It's nice to meet you Ven, I'm (y/n).

TIME SKIP

It's now a week before Aqua and Terra's Mastery exam. Everyone had become good friends and got along really well. The group was sparring as usual. "You two really have come a long way since you started training here," said Aqua. "Thanks, Aqua but we still have a long way to go before we can beat you two." Said Ven. "I wouldn't be so sure about that Ven. Hey, Terra fight me next." Said (y/n). "You sure about that. I don't want to hurt you."

"I'm sure I'll be. Just fine. I've been working on some new techniques and it's been quite a while since any of you have sparred with me, right? You might be surprised."

"Okay, if that's what you want."

They both got into their battle positions with Aqua acting as the judge. Ven was watching the match from the sidelines. They both had their keyblades ready and waiting.

Terra charged in first but (y/n) gracefully evaded his attack and prepared to counter. She spoke some words quietly and then charged straight for him. it was over before anyone could comprehend what was happening. Terra was on the ground, his keyblade fell a few feet away from him and (y/n) was standing over him her one keyblade pointing to his heart.

"What just happened?" Terra was shocked and so were Aqua and Ven. (y/n) was smiling, putting her keyblades away and stretching her hand to help Terra back on his feet. "Surprised?" (y/n) asked. Before he could answer Aqua and Ven came running they couldn't believe what they have just seen. Aqua had a ton of questions since she's never heard of a technique like that. "What was that? I've never seen anything like that. It looked like you were flying through the air while dodging and when you counterattacked..."

They turned around to see master Eraqus. It seemed like he witnessed the whole thing. "(y/n), would you come with me?"

"Sure, but is there something wrong?""No, it's nothing I just want to ask you something."They both went back to the castle leaving the other three keyblade wielders alone wondering what will happen. They entered a bight room that had 3 big thrones in it. Master Eraqus turned to (y/n).

"Where did you learn that technique?"

"Well, I remember reading a book about the history of keyblade wielders and something about Scala ad Caelum in the library, when I came upon a chapter about a fighting style called caelo gradus. But most of the pages were missing so the only chapter I could read was about sky stepping."

"Caelo gradus was a technique known only to a chosen few, back when I was training as a keyblade wielder. That book should never have existed."

At that moment they both heard something strange but when they turned around they just saw Ven who was eavesdropping falling on the floor since he slipped. (y/n) started laughing then went to help him back up. The master said that both of them can go and that they'll continue their conversation later.

"Why did you do that Ven? You could've gotten in some serious trouble you know?""I know, but I was worried about you. You looked scary when you were fighting Terra so I thought that the master was mad at you."

"That's sweet of you but you don't have to worry about me. I'll be fine as long as I'm with all of you."

"Do you promise you're okay?"

"Yup, I promise."

They both went back to the training grounds to see Aqua and Terra sparring. Their fights were always the best to watch. And this time they were both trying extra had since their mark of mastery exam was coming soon. Perhaps too soon...
