"ENOUGH ALREADY!" Christine shouted, pushing herself out of her chair.

The Squip had been rambling on for about five minutes, completely ignoring everyone telling him to shut up. But I guess Christine, the normally quiet and shy theater kid, lashing out really shocked him.

"Listen here, buddy. It's all in the past now. And if you think that some stupid rumor or a sly comment is gonna tear us apart, then you've got another thing coming. Watch your back, you..you jerk!"

She sat back down, leaning into Jenna's tight, warm embrace. A small silence passed where everyone just stared at Christine in shock.

"You just got therved."

Everyone laughed and stood up to applaud Christine while the Squip scowled at her. Christine giggled and smiled, proud that she finally stood up for herself.

"Let's just watch the stupid musical," the Squip grumbled.

THE SQUIP (SPOKEN)
