Your 3 day break proved to be a little too relaxing, if there is such a thing. Managing to waste your whole time off in front of your laptop, you were able to catch up on all of your favorite K-dramas and ate yourself into countless food-comas. You had too quickly become accustomed to the sloth lifestyle that you had overslept this morning and now you were running late for work!

Throwing your work uniform on and tripping out the front door to your apartment, you slammed the door shut behind you in a wild panic.

Half jogging into the cafe and struggling to find your breath, you quickly placed your bag down and signed yourself late into your shift.

7:53am

Crap...

Rolling your eyes over the hour that will be deducted from your next paycheck, you put your cafe apron on and trudged into the kitchen to find Ji-eun leaning against the counter waiting for you.

"You're late!" She nagged, pointing at the clock above your head.

"I know! And thank you for reminding me!" You spat back across the kitchen, poking your tongue out at her.

"Here. Someone came in not too long ago and ordered this for you..." Ji-eun placed a hot chocolate in a take-out cup beside you on the counter. "It looks like you've got an admirer!" She smirked.

Picking up the cup, you read the message that was scribbled onto the side of the cup.

Too busy dancing to show up to work on time?

"Who the hell-"

"Who the hell do you think?!" Ji-eun swiftly cut you off, now looking at you like you must be a complete idiot.

"Read the time, stupid! The receipt is attached to the cup!"

Scrolling your eyes down the receipt, low and behold the time was printed as 7:42am.

Wait a second....

Crap. I missed him!

You couldn't restrain yourself from slapping your face with both hands at how long it took for you to figure it out, letting out a loud growl of frustration.

"He really came in? I really missed him?" You pouted, flickering between disbelief and disappointment over your horrible luck.

She walked across the kitchen and smacked you lightly over the head. "(Y/N), I'm not creative enough to make this sh*t up. He really came in!" She said as she pinched your right cheek.

"YAH! OW! Oh my god. Stob it!" You growled, rubbing your cheek trying to hide the blush that was creeping over your face.

Unable to comprehend that you'd managed to miss him after his week-long disappearance, you stood still in your place as you reminded yourself how much of an idiot you are.

Why why whyyy did I have to be so late for work today...

I'm beyond hopeless!

A rush of customers soon came through the cafe doors and formed a large line at the counter, forcing you out of your pouty mood and back into reality.

As you carried on with the rest of your shift, your mind kept dancing back to Mr 742 whenever you had the spare moment to think.

Why did it take him over a week to come back?
