Against His Wish

Chapter 53:- Broken angel...

Shivam's p.o.v

"She's not here" was the only words ringing in my ears from past one hour. I was numb it felt like a dream, she can't leave me not now...

" Shivam Shivam..." someone grabbed my shoulder shaking me violently.

"Why Xavier you promised me that you will take me to meet her? Then why would you do something like that..." I asked him he turned his head sideways.

"Yes I... did... but when She woke up... I looked at her face she looked so devasted and broken and I didn't find it in me to hurt her more..." he said and turned my wheelchair to my room.

"You should rest..." saying this he left my room.

That's what I'm doing and can do in this state I'm sure I dont be able to find her, forget about finding I'm not even able to walk by myself and where should I search for her.

I tried to close my eyes, but whenever I did her face came I front of my eyes. I had a sleepless night.

A week went in blur I don't know what happend, it just felt so empty and there is a void in my heart. I feel so lonely and numb, I would have became insane if it wasn't for Xavier who came to visit me everyday, he was the only one who was there for me. Not even Sam came to meet me but can I blame her, it's all my doing.

"So are you ready, doc said that you are healed and can be discharged..." Xavier said entering my room. I don't know what I did to deserve such friend. He is always there for me and I'm gald for that.

We were sitting in the car and Xav was at drivers seat he turned to me and asked..." so where should we go or do you want to head home directly..."

"Which home, that place is merely a building for me now, there is no one waiting for me, worrying for me and to take care of me... it's true when someone said that we know the value of person when they left us..." and just like that I was again in my own world, the world where I'm the culprit of her, where I'm nothing else then monster...

"Shivam we can't change our past but we can always try to make our future better... remember you were the one who said this to me...'' i looked outside window and saw peace full night, it was dark but the small stars were doing their job to illuminate it, whereas moon was hidden behind dark clouds the glow of night was lost just like I had lost of my life.

"We are here..." Xavier broke  thoughts I nodded at him and made my way to my mansion, lights were off and it looked like no one lived here ever.

"Should I stay with you..." he asked.

"No Xav I'm fine you don't have to stay with me, go Sam must be waiting for you..." I didn't want him to stay here with me leaving Sam alone in this condition.

He left me. I stood there for sometime and made my way inside, once I was inside the feeling of loneliness again engulfed me.

"Is this how she felt when she was alone in this mansion..." just a thought of her was enough to bring tears in my eyes, I never had imagined that just a thought of her could effect me so much.
