Brendon stared at his desktop screen, faint reflections of colors painting his face.

"Should we play some Fortnite or should we just play something else? You guys sick of Fortnite?" Brendon questions, pulling up the game launcher.

His eyes panned over the chat comments. He smiled at the sight of all the bit donations. "You guys are awesome, seriously."

"I guess you guys want Fortnite, so we gotta give the launcher time to load up." He explained, pushing the mic further back.

"I can see if Chams wants to play later this week if you guys wanna watch us play duos. I don't think he's on tour or anything."

Brendon continued to read through the chat comments. More bit donations, a couple more subscription notices. Brendon always loved to see people talk about their show experiences, hearing all of the things the fans had to share.

What really caught his eye though was a mass abundance of comments talking about someone's coming out. He scanned the comments for a name, but was left empty handed.

"Wait, wait, wait. Who are you guys talking about? I keep seeing 'coming out', but I don't know who you're talking about." Brendon explained, before pushing away from the desk so they'd have a second to give him a response.

He made his way over to the other desk across the room, grabbing his bottle of water and making his way back to the chair.

He scans the chat again, only this time he furrowed his eyebrows at the response.

"Alec Truman?" Brendon exclaimed. "Twenty One Pilots?"

Brendon placed the water bottle down next to him, soon forgetting that he was, in fact, thirsty. He had more pressing matters now. "Alec Truman."

He pulls up a new tab on one of his desktop screens, typing the all too familiar name into the Google search bar. He clicked on the most recent article link.

__________

Just a couple hours ago, Twenty One Pilots lead singer, Alec Truman, and drummer, Josh Dun, exposed Truman's sexuality to their Instagram following.

When Dun claims that Truman is a "twink", Truman replies with a simple "we been knew", but the tea doesn't stop spilling there.

It's really unclear how the fans are reacting to the news. A couple fans claim that they will no longer be following the band due to Truman's endeavors, while others seem to be loving the new information.

What do you think? How do you think this will affect the band?

__________

His face seemed so different now, but it was evident that it was still that same boy Brendon spent his childhood with. Brendon wasn't exactly sure how he was supposed to react to this. It had been years since he'd even heard Alec's name. Obviously he'd heard of the band; they were one of the biggest bands out there right now, but he'd never really payed attention to any of the names.

He clears his throat, minimizing the tab for later and turning his attention back to the stream.

"Well, congrats to the man." Brendon smiles, and he's happy for him. He had always known, he was the first person Alec had ever told, but now he was out to the public and Brendon knew how difficult that could be.

"Now let's play some Fortnite vros."
