The Good Girl & The Bad Boy

Prologue

-15 years ago-

Winnie Barnes and Alice Baker were at the Baker household preparing dinner while their kids ran around. They each had two kids both 3 and 4 years old and one on the way they were finishing up putting food on plates when they heard "DADDY!!" as they heard their booming voices come through the door. 

Both James and Lucas came in holding their kids. Winnie smiled at her husband said "You may need to grow another arm." 

"No Becca here is about to big for dear ol dad to carry her soon it will be me holding Brady here and little brother James." James said 

"Is that what you decided for a name?' Lucas said as he cracked open a beer and handed it to James. 

"Yeah his name is going to be James Buchanan. A little piece of daddy and grandpa." James said

"Yeah but I can already tell he's not a fan of his name." Winnie said 

"How do you know that?' Alice said

"Cause we did the kick test when we picked names with the other two that's how we chose their names. But with this one we didn't cause the day that we found we were expecting him was when my dad passed away his name was Buchanan so we just decided that he will be James Buchanan. What about your princess?' Winnie said

"Oh my princess her name is Caitlin Josephine" Lucas as he place his hand on his wife's growing belly. "She's really moving around in there" he said 

"I know." she said 

They all gathered up their kids then ate dinner. As their husbands were cleaning up they went into the living room. They had both been experiencing contractions on and off all day long but nothing to cause concern. It was March 9th at 745PM they both started to count each other's contractions.

"Baby you are being awfully qui...et" Lucas said as he walked into the room to see them both doubled over in pain and holding hands. "James you need to call your sister we need to get our wives to the hospital." he said 

James walked out and seen Winnie. "Oh darlin hold on." he said as he pulled out his cellphone to call his sister Norah to come watch the kids for them. They packed their cars once Norah got there they took off.

They put them together since they were both nurses and their husbands worked their as well. Dr Carter walked in "Well this is a first.. your other two kids are like 3 and 6 months apart." 

Winnie said "Yeah we know." through labored breathe. 

"Okay Mrs Baker you are a 7 and half and water is fully broken." Dr Carter said then changed her gloves and put on a new pair to check Winnie "Almost 8 and half water is broken as well.. okay ladies we are having us some babies tonight. Epidurals this time?'

"No..we can do this one last time." Winnie said 

At 12:06 AM Winnie was being rushing into an emergency c section cause Bucky was stuck in her birth canal. When she finally got to see him she whispered "Oh man he is our biggest baby James" 

"I know he was almost 10lbs the nurse said he was 9lbs and 8oz." James said as he held him. 

At 12:08 AM Dr Carter's colleague helped Alice welcome into the world "Caitlin Josephine" into the world. She had big blue eyes and blonde hair she was 6lbs 5oz. 

"Our smallest baby Lucas" Alice said

"My tiny princess I finally get my girl." he said as he played with her tiny fingers.

James came over "OH what a doll baby she is." when they got back into the room. 

"I know" Lucas said

"Look at that chunky monkey you two have." Alice said when she seen Bucky.

"I know he was almost 10lbs." Winnie said 

They laid them side by side to get a picture of them. "I hope that they are close like the other ones." Alice said 

"Me too." Winnie said
