I have smaller sections in this chapter. tell me if you guys like this better, or if i should go back to what i used to.

you were sitting in a clear cage by yourself. the blanket from the bed next to you wrap tight around you as you stared at the floor. 'Why did they hate you? what did you do wrong? Are you just nothing?' the only other things you heard other than your negative thinking were the shops doors opening and closing with the sweet chime of the bell.

you had been received form your last owner not than long ago, maybe just some weeks. the thought of her made you shiver and press the thought away. that is the reason you were all by yourself now. you couldn't be adopted like any other bitty's in the shop. you were to scared. they had you there until you feel less traumatize and ready to be adopted again. if that day came around...

it was a rainy day outside. The rain made it so there weren't that many customers in the store. no one wanted to go out and get wet. you were sitting in one of the corners and pulling on the loose string from you green jumper when you heard the bell. new customers. you could hear the shopkeeper greet them, and by the sound of it, they knew each other. It seemed like ha wanted to adopt a bitty and ask some question.

you blocked the conversation out and shifted your attention back on the sting and the sound of heavy rain. that was until you felt a hand take a grip on you and pull you out of your little safe room. you squeak in surprise and tried your best to get out.

the grasp was gentle, but still hard to get out of. the owner of the hand, the shopkeeper, began to speak. "I know this may be a lot to ask for Papyrus, but I believe you would be the best suited for this task." you grip tighten around the wrist of the shopkeeper as you could feel a panic attack sneak up on you. "I WOULD BE GLAD TO HELP! NO TASK IS TO BIG, OR TOO SMALL, FOR THE GREAT PAPYRUS."

they were a he, the customer and apparently your new owner was a he. Just the thought of a owner and getting adopted made you panic more. "Thanks Papyrus" the owner answered while trying to pry you of their hand and into a carrier.

-

No,no,no,no,no,nO,NO! this is not happening. you were covering in the back of the carrier while clutching thighs on the blanket that was left in there for your comfort. Papyrus, as you learned the skeletons name was, had brought you home and let you on a table while getting the stuff you needed ready.

He had been speaking to you the whole way there, but you couldn't her over your own heartbeat and crying. You believe he had been thinking to open the carrier when he got home, but noticing your red puffy ears and ragged breathing left to set up instead.

It wasn't long until he was finished and you heard the cage opening. You just whimpered and hid under the blanket. "Greeting," his voice was much more gentle and hushed down that it was in the store an in the car. "My name is the great Papyrus, and I welcome you to my house. what is your name little bitty?"

You weren't capable to mutter a word. he's just faking it. he will act all nice the first day and then turn on you. Papyrus saw your shaking, but he wouldn't give up this easily on making a new friend!

I will be on the couch, feel free to come out and join me!" he left and you could her the TV turning on. you sat there for quite some times before you got brave enough to move over to the cage opening so you could get a better view. you were on a table in the living room right next to the couch. peaking a little bit out made you see that the skeleton wasn't on the couch, while the TV was still on. did he trick you?

"I see you admire my decorating skills little bitty! The great papyrus can see why your impressed" you jumped up squeak in surprise by Papyrus sudden appearance in a doorway. plates in hand. you scrambled backward and hiding under the blanket when you were close enough. you heard something being placed on the table in front of you.

it took at least five minutes before you came out to the cage opening again. looking you saw a small plate with spaghetti on it. looking toward the couch made you realize were Papyrus went. you headed back inn in the comfort of the cage.

-

It had been nearly a month living here. you had become brave enough to come out of the cage thanks to much to Papyrus rooting you on. you had become more relaxed, but still couldn't shake of the thought he would become like your former owner. you were sitting on a windowsill watching the starry night when something broke the silence.

listening closer you realized someone was crying. you left your stargazing spot to follow the sound. opening the door for Papyrus bedroom made you realize he was crying. it was so weak that you could probably been thinking it was someone else. the walls of the apartments were really thin after all.

You slowly made your way over to his bed. "Pa...Papyrus?" your voice was hushed down but it was enough for him to jump in surprise. "OH! TINY BITTY. I didn't see you there" he quickly tried to wipe his tears away so you wouldn't notice them, but his plan was foiled when you asked him why he has crying.

"Its just... I just feel so alone. after Sans moved out after I insisted because of his work I have felt more alone than ever. I just feel like no one wants me around. I didn't have that many friends in the underground except online. I just feel like a bother. I ant to be popular, and that people like me but... but I" he broke of trying to hold his tears back.

You acted before you could think about it. your hand going around his wrist and hugged him close. "I-I think your pre-pretty cool" you mustered out. what were you doing? Papyrus lifted you up and hold you close. maybe he wasn't that bad, and maybe you could learn him to see life another way. who knew, maybe he can help you at the same time.
