i saw it broke down today.
it felt like a big change,
yet we are inviting it.
the old toys and broken lamps.
i saved some things for the
change that was coming.hearts has changed and things
that never should have,had
left their mouths. we forgive ourselves, and we forgive them.10 year old me was as amusing as my heart is right now. innocent. taken for granted. giving and sometimes, outspoken.
i mess up a lot and so do these people of this house. we eat, celebrate, feel together — with knowing smiles, reassuring words, fun reactions, convincing nods and full heart laughs.
this is something no one wants
to leave behind. like how my grandmother is always worried about every little thing and how my grandfather is a kid at heart and how at every corner of this thing we're building together, we find something familiar.we all are tied up strings
called — familiarity, love, pain
and everything in between.
It screams our name, and at
the end of the day we come
back here— to this feeling called home.
