A broken lamp
by the bedside,
tiny pieces of glass
stuck in the rug.
A round stain
on the wooden table,
small sliver of cardboard
under the shaky leg.
A picture of you
in a cramped metal frame,
standing in front of a waterfall.
Everything breaks and stains.
