I gasp jolting awake to a girl screaming I look around the empty room I sigh seeing it's past 8:00 my eyes widen
"Shit!" I grumble jumping out of bed I grab random cloths quickly changing I grab my backpack running downstairs
"Lily?" Jenna asks surprised I smile
"Jenna, hi I-"
"Are you skipping school?" she frowns I shake my head
"No! No, I- My alarm didn't go off and- I really gotta go." I say quickly grabbing my keys
"What's this?" she asks pointing to my arm I look down seeing the red-ish outline of a hand I quickly pull my sleeve down
"It's nothing I fell Now I really have to go." I open the door "Bye Jenna!" I yell starting to run since Elena took the car

I run into the classroom everyone looks at me. Mr. Tanner gives me a look I smile I sitting down grabbing my books from my bag as he begins to teach once again
~Lunch~
I walk into the lunch room seeing Matt I smile sitting next to him
"Hey, How's Vick?" I ask he sighs
"Can I tell you something?" I nod
"Of course." he sighs
"Last night she woke up and I'm pretty sure she mumbled vampire."
"What?"
"She was freaked out. I don't know she lost a lot of blood." I nod
"I don't know Matty.." I say thinking Tyler walks over sitting next to Matt
"I'll see you later, Matt." I say grabbing my bag standing up he nods
"Lily." Tyler says following me I ignore him making my way to the girl's restroom where he can't follow me I walk into the bathroom I hear him sigh mumbling under his breath walking away I let out a breath of relief I walk over to the sinks pulling my sleeves up washing my face

I walk out seeing kids scattered around talking or heading home I sigh seeing Jeremy and Tyler talking I run up to them as Jeremy shoves him backward
"Whoa!" I shout they ignore me
"Walk away, Gilbert. It's your final warning." he says locking eyes with Jeremy
"No, this is your final warning, dick." he takes a step closer to Tyler "I'm sick of watching you play Vickie. If you hurt her one more time, I swear to god, I will kill you." My eyes widen Jeremy glances at me before storming off
"Damn, that was like a death threat. Did you hear that?" he asks the group of girls who nod I roll my eyes
"Shut up." I mumble running after Jeremy I catch up to him grabbing his arm he stops glaring at me
"You can't make a death threat Jer!" I scold
"Why not? he's not gonna do anything." I scoff
"Jer...I know that you greatly dislike Tyler as do I but you can't just pick a fight with him."
"You don't know anything. So shut up and leave me alone." I scoff
