I stand next to Matt as he tosses the ball back in forth with Tom while Tyler stands next to him.

"Look, There's Elena and her new boyfriend." Tyler says I roll my eyes catching the ball throwing it back to Tom "Now what are they doing? Oh, they're walking, Walking, walking. Yep right into the sunset." I scuff

"You're a dick." Matt mumbles catching the ball before quickly throwing it back

"While you just stand there looking like one of those little yard trolls." I hold back a chuckle

"Gnomes. You mean Gnomes?" Tyler rolls his eyes Matt smirks tossing the ball at me I catch it throwing it

"And what am I supposed to do, Ty? She made her choice." he says looking over at Elena Tyler drops his backpack

"Let her know she made the wrong one." he says catching the ball before Matt can

"What are you doing?" I hiss he smirks taking a step back throwing back his arm my eyes widen

"Ty, Don't. Ty! Don't, Ty!" Matt yells Tyler ignores him throwing the ball as hard as he can before the ball can hit Stefan he turns on his heals catching the ball swiftly. he throws back his shoulder throwing the ball with force Tyler catches it stumbling back a little I chuckle

"That's what you get for being an ass." I say picking up my bag from the grass slinging it over my shoulder

"I'll see you after cheerleading practice." I say turning to Matt he looks taken aback

"You're trying out?" I nod

"Elena's making me." he chuckles

"Sounds about right." I nod turning walking away with a wave ignoring Tyler's gaze.

Tanners voice sinks into the background as I concentrate on drawing a weird symbol I've been seeing in my dreams lately

"Miss, Gilbert." I look up to see him talking to Elena I let out a breath of relief

"Pearl Harbor?"

"Um..." she struggles I sigh

"December 7th, 1941." he turns to me

"Thank you, Miss Gilbert." he says sarcastically I fake a smile

"Very well. The fall of the Berlin wall."

"1989. I'm good with dates, sir." I say trying to make a point not to underestimate someone

"Are you." he chuckles "How good? Keep it to the year." I nod

"Civil rights act."

"1964."

"John F. Kennedy assassination."

"1963." I smile leaning back into my seat crossing my arms

"Martin Luther king."

" '68."

"Lincoln." he takes a step closer

"1865." another step

"Roe Vs. Wade."

"1973." He steps closer getting annoyed

"Brown Vs. Board."

"1954." he steps closer now in front of my desk

"The battle of Gettysburg."

"1863."

"Korean War. 1950 to 1953."

"Ha!" he leans in "It ended in '52." he chuckles I look down. .I could have sworn it was '53.. he turns walking back in front of his desk
