Chapter 5 Surprise Welcome To Your New Home

Both Hailey and Hannah had stayed at Mikos place both a little bored, Hailey was reading the book she had bought on their trip to Miami.

Hannah was listening to her music on her iPod, humming along, Hailey found a page on the after life debating if she should read it or not she waved for her sister.

"What?" She asked.

"They have a thing in here about the after life and communicating with the dead" Hailey said showing Hannah the page.

"You can't seriously believe that do you? I mean come on there is no way to talk to the dead....as much as I want to believe it's true we have to face facts mom and dad are gone" Hannah said frowning.

"But what if it is true? We can talk to them" Hailey said.

"Ya? If it's true you'd be opening doors, remember what uncle said" Hannah sat up.

"I don't really remember" Hailey frowned.

"Well I do, he said 'don't mess with the after life, it is highly dangerous if you don't know what your doing, and if you don't know what your doing your opening doors that should never be opened' remember?" Hannah said.

"Now I do......sigh.....I just want to hear them say they love us, even if it's just once" Hailey whimpered.

"I know Hailey trust me I know, I wanna hear them say 'I love you' to, but we won't" Hannah said.

"Hailey, Hannah someone named William Fowler is here to pick you two up and he said to pack everything you have" Mikos host mother said.

"Why do we have to pack?" Hannah asked standing up.

"Don't know hun, he didn't say" she said walking away.

Hailey and Hannah shared a look then shrugged as they started packing, then went down stairs where Fowler waited for them.

He took their things along with Mikos host father as the girls got in Bulkheads vehicle mode.

"Well thank you for looking after them, just know they will be in a good home" Fowler said.

"I'll be sure to remember that agent Fowler, bye girls" the host mother waved.

Hailey waved back and Hannah gave a single  Wave putting her music on, Hailey did the same but opening her book again to read until Hannah took it and changed the page.

The drive to base seemed rather long but they finally arrive, Fowler unpacked all the girls things and set them down so Bulkhead could transform.

Ratchet came out and saw the girls he held in a breath and couldn't seem to find his voice to speak.

"Girls Ratchet has a surprise for you, if you would follow both Ratchet and myself" Optimus spoke taking their things.

The girls nodded and followed the two and watched as Ratchet kept looking back to them, they stopped at a door and they watched it open to see a fully furnished room, a spot for a small living room and beds.

"This is your sleeping quarters as well as a private area to watch television if you wish to be alone, this way please" The Prime said.

They moved on the the washracks and saw a small building and walked in to see it was a bathing area for them.

The two then took them to the main room and showed them the kitchen and washing machines.

"This is amazing, but why put all this in?" Hailey asked.

"You'll need these things to survive will you not?" Optimus asked.

"Wait...survive? As in live here?" Hannah asked.

"Indeed, Hannah, Hailey...welcome to your new home" Optimus said.

The girls stood there in silence for a moment and Hailey nearly fainted if her sister didn't catch her and hold her up.

"Girls Say hello to your new Guardian, or in your case parent" Fowler said hand held out towards Ratchet.

The medic gave them a small look that had a mixture of feelings, worry, fear, happiness, love, and concern.

Hannah smiled and pushed her sister back to her feet and rushed over to Ratchet who kneeled down to them holding out his servo.

Hannah then hugged his servo Hailey was next to hug him, the medic lifted them up and held them to his chest plates in his way of a hug.

"Thank you Ratchet" Hailey said.

"Not Ratchet...dad" Hannah corrected her sister.

"It doesn't matter what you call me" ratchet smiled.

"Yes it does! You never call a parent by their name unless you introduce them to someone" Hannah said looking at him.

"Alright it matters" he smiled chuckling.

(Next day)

Hailey woke up sitting up in her bed, she stretched, standing up, pulling her light blue night shirt down she walked out into the hall.

She made her way to the washracks and entered the shack they made for their washroom.

'They really did think of privacy' Hailey smiled.

Washing her hands she yawned walking back out into the main room to see Optimus in a shower stall.

"O-Optimus?!" Hailey choked.

"Hailey?....are you alright?, your all red" Optimus asked looking from around the stall wall.

"I-I'm f-fine....ju-just going t-to g-get dresses" Hailey blushed rushing out of the room and down the hall.

Optimus only stood there for a moment thinking what had just happened, he shrugged his shoulders not paying it any mind.

Later after Hannah woke up they both went to take a bath, they took their clothes with them, so they could just get dressed after.

Hannah had black leggings with Demi jean shorts on with grey socks and over the ankle boots, then she had a dark blue shirt on.

Hailey had a red tank top with a printed picture of a few roses in grey on the front, she had a pair of white tights and black Demi shorts with black socks and ankle high boots.

They left their night clothes in the bath house going into the hall, they both started talking about many things, both smiling and laughing.

Ratchet saw them come out and he smiled, he went and picked up their bags and he met the girls half way.

"Ready to go to school?" Ratchet asked.

"If we must" Hannah said with a smile.

"That means yes" Hailey laughed.

Ratchet transformed the girl got in and buckled up, then he drove down the tunnel and onto the road.
