Chapter 7 - Can Starscream be our new mom

Starscream stayed in his new room he was given, Optimus felt it was only right and fair to treat him like he was a member of the team even if he didn't agree to join them yet.

The Prime talked to the rest of them and they felt uneasy about the seeker but seeing how Starscream never tried anything they started to feel more relaxed with him.

Though not everyone settled down with him being there, Arcee was still fuming and whining, making her feelings known.

Hannah and Hailey spent a lot of time with him to make him feel welcome and happy, they treated him with love and kindness.

Starscream started to love the girls, he always allowed them entry in his room, he allowed them to follow him like a shadow.

He even hissed and growled at Arcee when she tried to remove them from him a few days ago, which shocked everyone.

"I'm bored" Hannah said.

"And your complaining about it because?" Hailey asked looking up from a book.

"I'm bored" Hannah repeated.

"Then find something to do" Hailey sighed.

"....can I go to Screamer?" Hannah asked.

"No" Ratchet said.

"Why?" Hannah whined.

"Because he is in recharge, it isn't polite to disturb others when resting" Ratchet said stopping his work to look at the twins.

"Hey don't tell me!, it's her asking" Hailey said pointing to her sister.

"HEY!" Hannah barked.

"Did you wanna go for a drive Hannah?" Smokescreen asked.

"Sure I guess" Hannah shrugged.

Hailey shook her head and went back to her book wishing her sister to have fun, and ratchet went back to fixing something Bulkhead broke.

Bumblebee came in with Raf, now done with patrol he watched Smokescreen leave with Hannah.

:Did I miss something?: he asked.

"Nope just Hannah being bored so smokes took her for a drive" Hailey said.

"Hannah gets bored a lot huh?" Miko asked.

"Kinda, if she don't have something to do" Hailey answered.

The two girls looked over to see Jack studying for a test he had coming up, Miko teased him for a bit until Optimus spoke up about how studying was important and good.

Now the girl played on her phone, Hailey kept reading her book, until she put it down and made her way to the stairs then the hall.

Ratchet watched her leave figuring she was going to either the bedroom or washroom, so he kept working.

A clicking sound was heard and they all watched Starscream come out of the hall, the seeker rubbing his optics as he slowly walked out.

Hailey came out shortly after and smiled up at the seeker, patting his pede, she climbed the steps again.

"Where is Hannah?" Starscream asked looking around.

"On a drive with Smokescreen" Bulkhead said walking over.

"I see" the seeker said calmly looking at Ratchet then left again.

"That was a short visit" Arcee frowned.

"Can you blame him? He feels safer in his room" Ratchet said to the femme.

"Hmpth......I'm going out" Arcee said leaving down the tunnel.

When Hanna came back she bad a bag of take out with her, giving her sister and friends what she bought them.

They all sat down to eat, Ratchet groaned knowing there would be a mess, until he got a kind look from Optimus.

"Ratchet would you be so kind to take Starscream some energon?, I do not believe he has had any yet today" Optimus asked holding a cube of the blue liquid in his servo.

"I doubt he'd drink it but I'll take it to him" Ratchet said taking the cube and walked Down the hall.

Starscream sat on his soft berth, fighting so many negative thoughts, the hurt he felt, the loneliness and plain fact he would always be hated and alone he didn't even hear the knocking on the door.

"Starscream answer the fragging door will you?" Ratchet called.

"Sorry Ratchet.......I didn't hear you knock" Starscream said when the medic entered the room.

"Fine fine, here some energon.....the girls have been wanting to spend some time with you" Ratchet said.

"They are more than welcome to come in here as I've said once before" Starscream said and saw Hannah and Hailey at the door.

"CAN STARSCREAM BE OUR NEW MOM?!" Hannah asked.

"WHAT?!" The two mechs said.

"What's wrong with him being our new mom?" Hailey asked.

"You know what that means for us right?, it's the same thing for humans" Starscream said calmly.

".....Oohh....they have to get married" Hailey said.

"Well yes but our way of marriage is bonding our sparks, I'm not sure how everyone would feel about that" Ratchet said.

"WHO CARES?! IF THEY HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY IF ITS ABOUT HIM AND YOU BEING TOGETHER ILL TELL THEM OFF WE WANT A MOM AND WE PICKED STARSCREAM!" Hannah shouted scaring the two mech.

"....I'm all for it, but would you allow us some time to get to know each other better besides old enemies?" Starscream said.

"I can handle that" Hannah said with a smile.

"Cmon Hai, lets go tel everyone that screamer will be our new mom!" She said dragging Hailey out.

"Ah! Hannah wait, slow down" Hailey gasped.

The two shared a simple look and they grew a smile, chuckling Ratchet sat down beside the seeker deciding now would be as good as any to start their getting to know each other better time.
