8 - Wrong Move

It was in the third building of my very big campus when I saw Amanda and my friends along my run. They saw me perspiring and all. Shameful for me being seen like this because they thought I am the type of the girl who cannot have the clumsy moves or can't even break a glass. Well, it's me, the prim and proper girl of the campus.

"Hey. Miss Gorgeous, slow down. Woah- woah! What happened to you?" Amanda asked me.

"Nothing. I just don't want crowded places." I shrugged and raised my hands.

"Where are you guys going? Can I come with you?" Oh. I desperately need a company.

While walking to the cafeteria, we all saw Nate. He seems so happy. I can see he's walking towards our spot. Dang, I think he knew what I did already. I really haven't seen Jirro's face when I said that. I really need to know. But I think it's awkward to ask Nate things like that. He waved his hand while brushing his pretty hair and smiled shyly when he came nearer.

"Hey. Cands, can I talk to you for a minute?" He said. What's he up to now? I hate it when he calls me Cands. Maybe, I just like it when Jirro calls me his Candy. Oh, thinking about him makes my head aches over and over again.

"Sure. But why?" I curiously asked him. I am eating my pizza that Amanda gave me because she said I'm getting thinner and thinner everytime we see each other. At some point, I wanted to ask them about the party. But I know they were also that drunk. So, they can't exactly say what really happened.

"Let's just go to the library. I don't want someone to mess up with us." He politely said while offering me his hands to get my things. That's nice of him though. I really like the way he's handling everything that involves me or us. Nate's so nice and caring.

 We went to the last floor of our the building. This is the biggest library that I encountered. See, it has four floors that occupied almost half of a Super-Mega-Mall, which they call here, SM. It's not new  that people who aren't from Ateneo are coming in here just to surf, read or do some research. You can all find it here. Actually, this is my favorite place in the campus aside from the Cafeteria. It's nice and cold here just like Korea and America.

"So?" I asked him.

"Well, I haven't had the oppurtunity to speak earlier. God. You sure can run Candice." He smiled.

"W-what are you saying?" Now we're talking. I am so nervous right now. He's really digging it. I know for a fact that he likes me. We dated indeed. But for me, it doesn't count. I only see him as a friend. Nothing more than what he wants. Shit. What's this?

"You said that you're attracted to me Candice?" He seriously asked that while staring at me. I couldn't say anything. How did it happened? Why did I confessed with the wrong guy? I thought I said that to Jirro. Why is thus guy in front of me? Hell no. I will tell him  it's not meant for him.

"B-b-but-" I said. But he stopped me and kissed me on my lips. When he broke the kiss, I wanted to tell him everything. But he uttered again the words that I wanted to ask him earlier.

"Hey, I would like to explain everything. I don't want to ruin things just because I kissed you without saying words you wanna hear." He said while holding both my shoulders gently. It's the best part of this guy. He's sincere and serious. Nate can always crack a joke. But he knows how to be serious.

"When I saw you with Jirro so pissed. I would like to punch his face. But when I was so near, he began walking away. I heard you calling for his name. Jirro in fact looked at you for only a second. Then I saw you closing your eyes while him walking away again. You had enough time to say it out loud. I was about to ask you if you're okay when I was about three steps away from me but you stopped me there when you said that you're attracted to me."
