Naoko P.O.V       

Kanina pa ako nakahiga dito sa kama ko. But I still can't sleep. Kahit anong gawin ko hindi ako makatulog.

"Argh!" inis akong umupo muna sa kama ko. Tapos nun binuksan ko yung drawer ko sa tabi ng kama ko. May kinuha ako don.

Sleeping pills...

Everytime na hindi ako makatulog lagi akong umiinom nito. And lately madalas ko na siyang ginagamit. I know that it will may have a side effects on the one who is using it. But I really need this badly.

I open it and took some pills from the bottle and drink it. Humiga ulit ako sa kama ko at maya-maya pa unti-unti akong nakaramdam ng antok. And sooner I drift off in the deep sleep.

*Alarm clock's ring*

"Mhmm...." nagising ako mula sa ingay ng alarm clock ko. 

Bumangon ako sa kama ko at bumaba sa dining room. I saw daddy there eating his breakfast and wearing his usual bussiness suit.

"Oh Baby Naoko. Ang aga mo ata nagising ngayon ha." amused na sabi niya sa akin. Pero hindi ko yun pinansin at umupo na lang sa tabi niya.

"Why Baby Naoko? Is there any problem? May masakit ba sayo? Do you have a fever?" worried na tanong niya sa akin at ipinatong ang kamay niya sa noo ko.

"Daddy...sorry." mahina kong sabi while I cast down my eyes. But I know that he's making a puzzled look.

"What for Baby Naoko? Wala ka namang ginawang mali ha? And if it's about Aubrey... don't worry I understand you Baby Naoko. So it's fine." he said to me as if to comfort me. Tumingin naman ako sa kanya with a sad expression in my face.

"Daddy...I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for being selfish...." my voice trembled.

My eyes begin to blurr. Tears were threatening to escape from my eyes. Daddy see through to me and hug me.

"Baby Naoko. Alam mo namang we know how selfish you can be kasi simula bata ka pa we are always spoiling you until now. Sanay na kami sa pagiging selfish mo Baby Naoko. But we still love you on who you are." sabi ni daddy at hinahagod yung likod ko. I bit my lower lip to control my emotions.

"Daddy...." yung na lang ang nasabi ko.

Because sooner... I will do something so selfish that could hurt anyone. Ayoko mang isipin na pati ang mga taong importante para sa akin ay madadamay at masasaktan but this is the only way to make everything right.

Humiwalay ako sa pagkakayap ni daddy. I tried to regain my usual composure.

"Daddy....The interview is already the day after day, right?" pagcha-changed topic ko.

"Yes. Are you ready for the interview?"

"You don't need to worry about that daddy. Because everything will be under my control." I said to him emphasizing the last words. He gently smiled at me and stroke my head.

"Oh I need to go now Baby Naoko or i'm going to be late to my client's meeting today." paalam niya sa akin habang nakatingin sa wristwatch niya.

"All right daddy. Have a safe trip.." I smiled at him.

Pagkaalis na pagkaalis niya, my expression darkens. Nanumbalik ulit ang pagkawalang emosyon ng mukha ko.

"It's already time to start my plan" malamig kong sabi at umakyat ulit sa itaas, papunta sa kwarto ko. Pumasok ako sa bathroom and take a bath.
