shooting stars are so
beautiful
but i don't make wishes
anymore
i don't believe shooting stars
are wish granters
they are there to give us hope
that the world underneath it
might be cruel, at times
there still remains a beauty
and a mysterious wonder
in this universe
when i see one next time
i will thank it
for that moment
that i dropped all my running thoughts
to enjoy those few seconds
watching the shooting stars
