(Renesmee)

It is December 21, and the leaves on trees have slowly started to flutter through gravity to the ground. I hate being stuck inside the car. I feel bile rising up my throat. Car-sick. Jacob grabs my hand hard so nothing comes out. "We are almost there Renesmee," He smooths my hair down and puts his chin over the top of my hand. "I know, I just really miss home." I reply bringing my arm over to put around his neck.

Under Jacob, I watch the passing trees in the window. They are green and living. Well I'm more green than usual and I guess I'm still living. I can breathe I think. Blood is still pumping through my body, and Jacob is still right here at my side. So I guess life is good. But my memories are what hurt the most. Memories of Jacob and I running through the hallways of the cottage, pretending to be airplanes. Memories of my family in the house, before the Volturi. Melancholy fills in a ball inside my chest. Tears roll down the side of my cheek and on to Jacob's arm. "Renesmee... It's going to be okay. I know it will. Your feeling sad now, but once you get back to the gist of things in the new house, everything will be okay." I nod knowing that he is not only right, but honest. "I love you." I say looking up at his face with watering eyes. "You too." He pulls the falling strands of my hair to the side. A kiss is planted on my forehead.

"Could you guys quit it back there?!" My dad yells from the front, paranoid. "Oh honey, they love each other. It's cute." My Mom says she puts her hand on his shoulder. "Yeah, but they don't have to be so public!" He grabs the wheel with his left hand and rolls his eyes. Jacob lifts his head up to say something. "Hey Bella," Jacob says. "What Jake?" My Mom turns her head back. "I'm mentally older than you." Jacob announces proudly. "Age is just a number honey." My Mom laughs. "That whopping two-year gap between you and Jake." I say laughing as well. Jacob had just turned 'mentally 20' a few months ago. "You know what is a bigger gap?" My Father asks sternly. "A 15-year gap." My father intends at me and Jacob. The car grows silent. We sit in this silence for a while.

"Daddy?" I ask. "Yes honey?" I shift forward in my seat. "That's your problem!" He turns to see my face rapidly smashing into Jacob's. I brush my fingers through his hair and use my other hand on his chest. This'll show him, I think loud so he can hear me. I hear my dad sigh with release and I pull back from Jacob. "You should get paranoid all the time Edward." Jacob states. I turn to look at him confused at his words. "Well if that's gonna happen every time Edward, then feel free to get annoyed anytime you want." My Father gives him the 'I'm going to kill you' look. I laugh and give Jacob a small kiss on the cheek. "It's true." He says silently to me. "Okay. Okay. That's enough." I say giving a discreet chuckle. His eyes meet mine with a signature 'Jacob Black smile'. I scrunch my eyebrows. "What?" I say relaxed and tired from the long trip. "I'm just looking at you." He smiles again brightly.

Ummm... I scrunched my eyebrows and look at him. His beautiful brown eyes and full brown lips connect to soothingly tan skin. His soft skin curves around his muscular shoulders. Huge shoulders wrap all the way back to the nape of his neck, that is curved from various displays of bad posture. His chest is smooth and long that bends into a stomach full of abs. Calves that aren't usually covered by the jeans he is wearing today, are rounded into small; thick ankles. I shift my eyes over to see two big hands laced with mine, around the size of his face. "Jacob... I don't know how to say this, but you are kind-of beautiful." He turns the corners of his mouth into a smile and turns toward my Mother with a wink. A friendly wink? "You aren't the only one who has told me that." He laughs.

I don't have an Idea what he is talking about, but I laugh with him anyway. Just to break the tension. Ha ha. Awkward. "Renesmee, when I taught your mom how to drive motorcycle a few years back, she fell off of the motorcycle into the rocks. She hit her head really hard and said that I was beautiful." Jacob chuckles as does my Mom. Yes... A friendly wink. At Least it seems like it. Am I doubting his love for me? He wouldn't do that, make a friendly wink towards another girl... My Mom especially. I'm his imprint, he could never feel the way he does about me to any other girl. I don't think he's able to... My Dad is laughing at something, but no one else is laughing. Everyone looks confused except him----

"DAD! Stop reading my thoughts!" I say reaching through the seat to smack him on the head. "Well I can't read Bella's and I mean pshh who would want to read Jacob's---" Jacob tilts his head to the side squinting his eyes. "Like that ever stopped you." Jacob gets angry. "Shut it Mutt!" My Dad growls. "Bring it on leech!" Jacob shifts forward in his seat. "GUYS STOP IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!" I scream. They all turn to look at me with wild eyes. "That could have ended badly." My Mom picks at her perfect fingernails. "Yeah! It could have." Jacob said still angry. I restrain his arm softly with my hand and pat him with the other. He calms down instantly and turns his fast, ragged breaths into slow, and steady ones. "You're right Renesmee" He says "I wouldn't want to get out of control."

My Dad takes a sharp turn on a road that goes into the woods. "We're almost there." My Mom winks at me and Jacob in the back. Then, I see it. The most wonderful thing in the world. Two houses stand next to each other. They are three times as big as our last house. The house on the left is a bit smaller than the one on the right. The rest of the family smiles with glowing eyes. "Alright everyone! File in!" My Dad says. Apparently we were already out of the car and in the driveway. "Except for you and Jacob." Aunt Rose motioned us over. "Here comes the surprise!" Aunt Alice comes over to us in excitement. "You love it!" She says looking forwards with wide eyes. "Enough Alice! Okay... So, we thought that you two might like a place for yourselves.... So, the house on the left... It's yours!" I scream loudly inside my head. Wait... That wasn't inside my head!! Ooops! Aunt Rose's eyes grow in excitement. Jacob's mouth is still dropped open facing towards me. "Wait... Our parents are actually letting us live together?" I ask still extremely ecstatic. "On some conditions," Alice drops her head low. "You have to be to bed by 11 o'clock at night when there is school the next day and there are two separate bedrooms for you and Jake." Alice continues.
