INSTRUCTIONS:
In groups (preferably 3-5), prepare and present the poem Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll in a creative way. Make use of your voice and body language skills to make this poem as interesting as possible. In the course of presenting this poem, everyone in the group must do a reasonable amount of speaking.
As you read the poem, you may find there are a number of words that are new to you. It is up to you as a group to decide what you think they mean (to make the poem meaningful) and how they should be pronounced. It does not matter if you choose to say the words differently than another group. You need to stand up and present your version with POISE and CONFIDENCE.
Quality of voice, creativity, and stage positioning will be evaluated. As will presentation style and the degree of confidence, you exhibit in presenting this language. It must be memorized.Remember:

The Jabberwocky - Lewis Carroll
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe."Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"He took his vorpal sword in hand;
Long time the manxome foe he sought—
So rested he by the Tumtum tree
And stood awhile in thought. And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came! One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back."And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
Hey everyone!
This isn't something I usually post, but I decided to spice it up a little.
It's basically a prompt for a group skit that you could do. My drama teacher did this with my class a few months back and I found it really interesting. Good luck! <33
Hope you enjoyed!
