Chapter 18

He comes back about an hour later carrying bags of Eastside Mario's. My favorite restaurant. What were the odds that this was his favorite too? I wonder what he even got me?

"Eastside Mario's huh?" I ask as he sets the bags down on the kitchen island.

"Yeah, your favorite right?" he asks with a smirk and my eyes go wide.

"How did you know that?" I ask shocked.

"Eddy. He said while you guys made small talk, one of the things that came up was your favorite meal and restaurant. So, if he remembered correctly, I should have all your favorites. Bread, garden salad minus the peppers, olives and tomatoes and chicken fettuccine Alfredo." he says as he pulls the items from the bag.

"Oh my god, are you trying to give another orgasm?" I blurt, trying to processes it all.

"No, but I definitely wouldn't complain about giving you a few more after this." he says with a widening smirk.

"Oh baby." I moan and I see his eyes darken lustfully.

I walk towards him and pull him down towards me, kissing him deeply before pushing him away and reaching around him to grab a fork.

"As much as I would love you inside of me right now, I would love this food even more inside of me." I tell him and he chuckles.

"Alright mami, I have made you wait all day, so you eat up, but don't take forever." he says with a wink and I giggle.

"I won't." I promised.

I go back around the island and sit down on one of the stools and begin eating the salad.

"I can't even explain to you. HOW MUCH I love this." I say and he chuckles.

"Well I'm glad I could get it for you." he says.

"I'll be doing all my thanking in the bedroom later for this, so you look forward to that papi." I say with a wink and I see his eyes widen.

"It's only fair." I say with a smirk and even though he rolls his eyes, I see the small grin pull at his lips.

"I look forward to it, mami." he tells me before taking out his own food.

We finish up our suppers and sit on the couch beside each other and watch some TV before I get up and take him into the bedroom and show him just how thankful I was.

The next morning, I wake up to an empty bed and Rio, nowhere to be found. I spend the day cleaning up, drinking coffee and tea and watching some movies. I try texting Annie, Ruby, Beth and even Rio but nobody would respond to me and I didn't know why. Finally, after another hour of waiting, I finally heard a knock on the door. I quickly get up and rush over opening it up to see none other than Eddy.

"Eddy?" I question confused.

"We need to talk." he tells me seriously.

I move out of the way so he can come in and I shut the door behind him.

"What's going on?" I ask worriedly.

"Rio got arrested." he tells me and I feel my heart stop for a moment, as all the air in lungs disappear.

"What do you mean?" I ask as panic fills me completely and my hands begin to shake.

Eddy quickly approaches me and leads me over to the couch before sitting down beside me. He takes both my hands in his and holds them softly.

"Milena, I want you to take a deep breath." he says softly.

I try but with my heart beating so fast, it seems nearly impossible.

"Shh, calm down, lay your head against my chest, focus on my breathing." he instructs me, letting my hands go and pulling me into a hug.

I press my ear against his chest, right above his heart and focus on the steady rhythm as I slowly start to relax.

"I'm so sorry." I say as I pull away, feeling much more in control of myself.

"It's okay, I will be honest. I really wasn't expecting that reaction, but it's definitely okay. Now before you get any more upset, we are going to bail him out." he replies.

I let out a deep breath as relief floods through my body.

"Oh, thank god." I say holding my chest and he chuckles.

"I think this is a more, thank the devil moment." he jokes and I laugh softly.

"So, let's go now." I tell him excitedly, starting to stand up, but he quickly pulls me back down.

"Actually, Rio said he didn't want you to go." he tells me and I groan.

"Please Eddy, this one time don't listen to him? I'm going to be on edge the hole time! We will make up a good reason to why or I will tell him to punish me for it and that I threatened you for it." I say and he lets out a groan.

"Ugh, Lena! I'm only doing this one time? Okay?" he tells me sternly and I smile widely.

"Yes! Thank you!" I cheer pulling him into a hug.

I quickly run over to the dryer and pull on my now dry bra and thong before going to Rio's closest and digging through his clothes till I find a pair of sweat pants. I pull them on and roll down the waist until they fit enough to stay up. Barely, but enough to get me there and back.

"Before we go, I have one condition." he tells me as I walk back out to the living room.

"What's that?" I ask.

"You wait in the backseat of the car." he says and I sigh.

"Fine." I say.

He gets off the couch and we make our way out of the building and right as we are about to step out the door I quickly stop him.

"Can you give me a piggy back there? I don't have shoes." I ask and he lets out a groan.

"I suppose I will." he says before bending down.

I jump up on his back and he carries me to the car before helping me into the car without my feet touching the ground. He then gets in the driver side and speeds off onto the road. Within no time, we are pulling up to the jail and I feel my heart start to race, knowing in just a few minutes Rio would be out.
