It's been two weeks since I moved in with Rio and things truly have been amazing and I got to meet his son twice. We went to the zoo for our first meeting and I think we hit it off well. He seemed to like me and I enjoyed him as much as I did with Ruby's kids, but not yet to where my nieces and nephews were, but for two meetings we were doing pretty good. The second time, Rio brought him over to the apartment to see his new room which he loved and then we had supper together before Rio took him back home to his mothers. My life so far has been pretty good, asides from feeling sick lately, but considering the things my sisters and Ruby were going through, I most definitely wasn't complaining.

I can't even imagine what must be going through their heads right now. We all knew Mary Pat was a little... loco... but finding out what she did to her own husband's body... was a little much. Especially when you really think about the BIG picture. I can sort of understand her thought process when it came to her husband... but I most certainly couldn't do that. It's one thing to think of a crazy thought, it's another when you're actually going THREW with it and making it a huge idea and plan. Then we have Boomer. The boom that never truly found death. The whole story was just insane, honestly. I was just glad that I was not part of it. I was at least happy that Annie was dating an FBI agent, Noah who was able to give any heads up on Agent Turners plans.

I'm quickly pulled away from my thoughts as I hear my ringtone begin to blare. I grab it off the coffee to see Beth's name and quickly slide the screen to answer it.

"Hey Beth, what's up?" I say.

"Come for a drive?" she asks and I frown.

"Sure, I'll be down in a minute." I tell her.

"Great, I'm out front." she tells me, making me frown more.

That definitely wasn't Beth unless it was important. I quickly hang up the phone and slip on some shoes as I was already dressed in a lace top and low-rise skinny jeans before making my way quickly down the elevator and out the door, where I spot Beth's van and quickly run to it.

"Hey is everything okay?" I ask as I get in and she begins to pull away.

''Here I brought you a vanilla milkshake." she says handing it over to me.

"Thank you, now tell me what's going on." I tell her.

It had to be bad if she even went and got me my favorite milkshake.

"I'm turning myself in. It's the best thing to do. For all of us." She tells me.

"That's crazy talk, Beth!" I say nearly spitting my drink out, as I had just taken a sip.

"Maybe it is, but I have already made up my mind and I'm not here to debate it. I'm here because I need you to do something for me. I need you to promise me, you will help Dean with the kids. He won't be able to manage it all by himself." she tells me and I instantly feel my heart break as I realize this was truly happening.

"Beth... I'm just... speechless, but of course I will. I promise." I tell her.

"Thank you, Milena. I love you and I'm so happy I have an amazing sister like you. Please don't say anything to Dean or Annie. Ruby and you are the only ones that know." she says and I frown.

"You are going to tell them before you go right? Speaking of which, when EXACTLY do you plan to do this? Also did you ask Rio to help?" I ask.

"Yes, he won't help. Says it's my mess. I will tell Dean and Annie after they take me in. It's for the best, they will only try and stop me if I tell them beforehand. Agent Turner is coming tomorrow afternoon." she replies.

"What about Boomer and let me try talking to Rio. He has to do something." I say.

"Boomer wants so much money and it's not worth the risk. Never mind Rio, he already said no. I will handle it from here like I always do." she tells me and I frown.

"I wish this wasn't happening." I tell her honestly.

"I know Lena. Just please come to supper tonight. I'm inviting everyone." she says and I nod my head.

"Is it okay if I just come with you now and help you out?" I ask and she looks over and smiles at me.

"Of course, Lena." she tells me.

We drive back to Beth's house and I wait outside while she goes in before calling Rio.

"Hey mami, what's up?" he asks

"Listen and listen good. You either fucking help my sister or you end your business with them, starting today and you never bother them with it again. I'll be home tonight. Love you, bye." I tell him before hanging up the phone.

I could only hope he chose to help.
