My alarm went off but I was already up. I twisted the ring around my finger as I figured out how I could sneak out.
Plagg hovered over me, eating cheese.
"Hmm... how to sneak out?" I murmured.
Plagg looked at me as though I was a little kid, "Kid. Go to that window. Tonight, say 'Claws Out'. Open the window. Use your stick to get the club. Boom! Problem solved."
I hadn't thought of that, "That'd work...if it wasn't a two-story drop."
Plagg finished his cheese, and groaned, "Kid, you're a superhero. I think you can survive a two-story drop without a scratch. Besides, you have your stick."
Then, I realized what Plagg had said, "Wait, since when did I become a superhero?"
"Shoot!" Plagg said.
"Plagg..."
He back away, "Not cool Adrien. I can't! You know how many people would chop off my head?"
I raised an eyebrow, "Plagg, tell me what you mean."
"No! Master Fu- Jade Turtle will have to tell you! Or Ladybug. She's boss you know, training to become a guardian..."
"Wait, you know Ladybug?"
"Shoot!"
"Plagg, what aren't you telling me about Ladybug?"
Then, Plagg smirked, "What? That you're not crazy in love with her?"
That took me back, "What! No, I just met her. I couldn't possibly be in love with her," I said blushing.
"Yes, I'm sure."
Suddenly Natalie, my Father's assistant, came in, "Adrien. It's time to go."
I nodded, and grabbed my bag, noticing Plagg had flown inside.
I walked out of the mansion and to the car where my driver sat.
I stepped in, closing the door.
I was dropped off in front of Father's school, and I walked in. As I walked, a girl suddenly bumped into me.
I recognized her as the girl from class, and the cafe, "Hey Marinette."
"Hey, umm, Dien, I mean Drian, I mean, Adrien," She stuttered.
I smiled. She must have forgotten my name, but I smiled that she remembered it in the end.
I bent down to help her pick up her stuff that had dropped from her bag.
As I picked up a photo, I noticed who it was of. I quickly pulled Marinette aside, "Marinette...I won't tell anyone, but you really shouldn't have this at school," I showed her the picture. I remembered looking them up online.
They were a group of breakdancers called 'The SuperHeros'. It consisted of Volpina, Feather-Eye, TurtleBack, Buzz, and my new found partner, Ladybug. Marinette must be a fan. I remembered her asking about breakdance, and yesterday she hesitated when saying her favorite dance was ballet. I now knew what her favorite dance was.
She had instantly gone pale and said, "It's not what you think! My second cousin twice removed and I bent to bear, I mean lent to stare yogurt. I mean, went to their concert, and got a pic, and put it in my bag, and I haven't taken it out and... ya," She said nervously.
I knew she was lying...but she was really bad at it. Yet she admitted to going to their concert and getting a picture...It made no sense. Almost like she was hiding something else. (Adrien is oblivious to all.)
