Sky woke up, rubbed his eyes, and looked around. He saw his mom making breakfast in the same room. Then Sky remembered his family didn't exactly have a lot of money. Though the family was just Sky and his mom. Sky got out of bed looking at his clothes. Brown, dusty, dirty clothes. He was bored at seeing the same clothes every single day on end.

"Honey, you have to get a job, if we keep this up we will be poor and the landlord will force us to move out." Sky's mom interrupted Sky's thoughts. Sky nodded. Today was going to be his first day looking for a job. Sky ate his food then went out into the village. When he got outside he saw everyone getting their stuff from the market stands. When Sky looked ahead of him he could see King Deadlox's castle and how much better it looked than the villagers houses. He then took his sight off the house and walked forward. He then felt himself crash into someone as he fell onto the ground. He looked up at Dawn staring down at him with a small grin.

"Why hello Sky." She said as Sky got up. "I was checking on your mother, she still hasn't paid her bills yet." Dawn looked at Sky's house as a small frown went upon her face.

"Oh, uhh, my mom still isn't feeling well." Sky made an excuse. This was the second time he had to stall for his mom, they didn't have enough money to pay for this months rent yet.

"Oh, ok, I guess i'll come back another time." Dawn turned her attention back to Sky and put her grin back on. "Well, until then I guess its just me and you." Dawn's smirk grew wider as she grabbed Sky's wrist.

"Sorry Dawn." Sky quickly pulled away, "I have to look for a job today." Sky said. Thank gosh he actually had a real reason to get away from Dawn.

Dawn's smirk went down a little but she soon responded. "Oh ok, maybe another time." She said as she started walking away. Sky nodded but once Dawn was gone for soon he let the shivers go through him. He always knew Dawn had some sort of interest in him but she never really liked him that way. Sky sometimes thought about using that to his advantage but he never really needed to as long as he stalled enough. He then started searching for jobs.

Sky had spent his whole day looking for a job but it seemed none of the shops had any avialable. Right as he was about to walk into his house someone ran up to him.

"Excuse me! Excuse me!" The voice became closer and closer. Sky turned around and saw a man running towards him. I am trying to spread the word about Deadlox, he needs a new maid or butler, the meeting is tomorrow at his castle." The man said. He quickly handed Sky a flyer and ran off to whoever his next customer may be. Sky looked at the flyer. Exactly what the man had described. Maybe this was what he was waiting for! Sky smiled and walked inside his house.
