Chapter 8

Deadlox heard a low growl rumble in his throat. Dawn stared at Deadlox in surprise until it came to his senses what was happening. She quickly got off of Sky and stood there. "Uh. This isn't what it looks like King deadlox, I swear!" Dawn begged for forgiveness. Deadlox walked up to her with the angriest stare either Dawn nor Sky had ever seen. Deadlox put one hand on Dawn's throat. Dawn started choking struggling for air as Deadlox lifted her up. Sky just sat there on the couch staring in surprise.

"Now, If you get anywhere near my Sky again, bad things will happen." Dawn whispered in an angry tone. He threw Dawn on the floor as she gasped for air taking as much in as she could. "Common Sky." Deadlox said holding Sky's hand as he walked out the door. "Oh, by the way Dawn, your fired." Deadlox said peeping his hand back in. Dawn just sat there in surprise still gasping for air. Deadlox and Sky walked back through the woods talking about the whole incident while holding hands. Once they got back to the castle they saw everyone standing by the door with worried looks on their face.

"We didn't know where you guys went!" A maid said with a worried look on her face.

"Don't worry, we just had an incident with Dawn ." Deadlox explained.

"Ugh, Dawn." A guard complained. "I've had to deal with that lousy girl many times." Everyone just accepted the fact that it was an accident and they all went back to their rooms. Sky was about to open his door when Deadlox walked up to him.

"Hey Sky, I was wondering if maybe you would like to sleep in my bed tonight." Deadlox asked.

"Oh, uh, sure." Sky blushed as he followed Deadlox to his room. Sky and Deadlox both got ready for bed then got in the bed.

"Would you like to sleep here as your permanent room?" Deadlox asked hoping for the best.

"Of course." Sky said pulling Deadlox into a kiss. Deadlox smiled as they fell asleep with Sky hugging Deadlox.

Deadlox woke up and saw Sky sleeping. He smiled and went to go get dressed for the day. When he came out he saw Sky was sitting on the side of the bed rubbing his eyes.

"Well good morning." Deadlox said walking over to him and giving him a kiss.

"Good morning." Sky smiled.

"So, I know this is going kind of fast, but it was on my mind and I cant wait any longer to ask." Deadlox started, "Would you like to be my queen." Deadlox asked smiling.

"Like I said last night." Sky said with the widest smile, "Of course."

Deadlox pulled Sky into a kiss and they stayed like that for 5 minutes before actually moving. The wedding ceremony went on a week later. Everyone was there, the whole village, except Deadlox that is, Sky's mom ran up to Sky and hugged him.

"I'm so proud of you dear." She said.

"Thanks mom." Sky said hugging her back. Then Sky heard the sound of a glass being chimed. Sky turned around and saw Deadlox standing on the table making a toast.

"I would like to thank you all for coming to the wedding." Deadlox said, "I just want to tell you that this wouldn't of happened if I hadn't made Sky, The Maid"
