Kyle was relaxing in the park with his friends, they were having a picnic. Enjoying their lives with no worries for the future. They were laughing, eating, and making good memories, but Kyle still couldn't shake a question off his back "Is this real?" He didn't want to know if this was real or fantasy, he just wanted to spend time with what he thought was his friends. But things couldn't go that way, soon enough Kyle saw the same war planes go by the sky. They released the same bombs right at them, concerned for his friends and panicked at the same time, Kyle screamed at the top of his lungs as the bombs hit the ground.

Kyle woke up in a puddle of cold sweat, a dream with a strong message woke him up. He checked his surroundings, finding nothing but debris. There was no one around, not even his friends. Kyle got up and found his way outside the debris-filled maze, he was shocked at what he saw. Broken roads, tumbled electricity posts, scattered cars, fallen buildings and no trees. 'Rest in Peace the ecosystem.' Kyle thought. He continued walking around the mess of a radio station, searching for his friends. It was quiet, only the rustling of the wind and the crunching of footsteps were the sounds Kyle heard. After a few more minutes of walking, he gave up hope. He was pretty hungry so he immediately started looking for any building that didn't go down completely. It took a while but Kyle found a building holding up, 'Surely there must be food there.' He thought. Kyle immediately moved in an attempt to get resources, he ran as fast as he could, ignoring the heat the bombs caused, as well as the little radiation emitted. He arrived at the barely standing building, one wrong move could make it go down on him. Kyle carefully walked around, inspecting the whole room for any edible item. He found nothing and was about to give up hope until he found a small can of ready to eat tuna. Kyle carefully stepped away from the building and carefully opened the can. He spilled all of the contents in his mouth, leaving not a single drop untouched. Kyle threw the can away, barely satisfied with the small meal. He began to wonder how long he was unconscious for, considering the fact that the radiation was pretty weak, he must've been out for at least a week or so. Kyle also pondered if the bombs actually affected the zombie outbreak, considering that he hasn't seen one infected it must've done something to them. Kyle continued his search for food, he searched every house and buildings near the radio station, but he had no choice other than to leave and search further. A mile away, Kyle found a house with an abandoned bomb shelter, keeping his hopes up, he burst in and found almost the whole room looted already. Disappointment consumed and enraged him, causing him to have a break down and smash everything nearby with a blunt object. After a few minutes of swinging and smashing, Kyle hit a painting, behind it was a hidden stash of canned food. His disappointment leaving him, he grabbed his backpack and took all but 2 cans as there must be someone else who needs the food. Kyle left with a satisfied grin, he had relieved his stress and got food along with it. It wasn't long until trouble reappeared, while Kyle was eating on the sidewalk, three tall armored men started heading towards him. Trying not to feel intimidated, Kyle kept on eating. The three men were right in front of Kyle, a few feet away. They were serious-looking and an aura swirled around them giving off the sense of danger and intimidation. "May I help you gentlemen?" Kyle asked in an attempt to not get in a fight.
"Yes, give us all your belongings." One of them said
"Excuse me?"
"Are you deaf, boy?" Another butted in
"No, why should I?"
"Because you will be beaten to death with these if you refuse." They brought out spiked clubs that obviously had someone else's blood on them. With no other option where he wins, Kyle decided to fight them.

With a strong wind-up, Kyle threw a heavy punch on one of the men's face, tumbling backwards. Enraged, the man ordered for them to attack. Kyle kicked the other one in the chest while he took his gun out and slammed the handle on the other guy's kneecap. The men cried in pain as Kyle used all his strength on them. While fearing for his life, Kyle pretended to look cool. "You mess with the knight, you lose your life." He proudly said while internally face-palming. While he was busy cringing at his one-liner, another man snuck up behind Kyle and slammed his head with the back of his club.
"Weakling." He said while Kyle experienced a strong headache. He was about to black out, but not before seeing another group fight the thieves.
