"Guys we got to go!" said Hans in stress, "Kyle's dead, he was impaled by debris, forget about him and run!" continued Hans while Kyle was unknowingly in a pile of rubble, subconsciously watching. Before Kyle wakes up, Hans turned around and winked at him. Kyle woke up on a bed, with an intense headache that made him feel like the world was being jackhammered. 'That was a weird dream.' He thought, 'Where am I?' Kyle got up, his legs were as wiggly as noodles and he almost toppled over. Kyle was pale as a ghost, he struggled on standing up. He barely got out his room, then he lost control, Kyle tripped and slammed his face on the hard metal tiles. Someone heard this as footsteps draw closer, the stranger helped Kyle up and led him to a table with chairs along every side, he made Kyle sit on one.
"Where am I? Who are you?" He asked
"Hey, ask the boss, not me." The stranger replied. The man left, Kyle was left with silence, anxious to see who's the "boss" they call. Moments later, a tall white man walked into the room. Kyle was intimidated, if the man was to put up a fight, Kyle was no match as he couldn't even walk. The man sat down on the chair in front of Kyle.
"Hello, my name is Weliston. What's yours?" The man with a deep voice said
"Uhh... Kyle."
"Okay, I'll get straight to the point, we've been observing you ever since you got to that gun shop. You have a set of skills that we find useful."
"Like what?"
"You hot-wired a car, you can climb up things, and you can fight a bunch of men at once."
"Can your guys not fight at least 2 guys at once?"
"I'll be honest, they're incompetent."
"So what you're saying is that you want me to work for you?"
"Yes, the dead men you saw in the gun shop?"
"They worked for you..."
"Precisely."
"You bombed us!"
"We warned you! You should be grateful we hurried you, otherwise you could've died for being slow."
"We were still bombed!"
"Zombies don't wait for anything, did you want them to spread?"
"You killed people who were still in the city! I'm lucky to be alive!"
"Yes, people must learn to sacrifice themselves for the greater good!"
"I want everyone to live!"
"Be realistic, you cannot save everyone."
"I...uhh..."
"Join us, the special forces need you."
"What do you guys even do?"
"We bloody kill zombies! Why'd you think we bombed the city?"
"You didn't even make an emergency evacuation!"
"The virus spreads too fast, you see."
"But not every place is destroyed in an instant!"
"Enough! This ends now!" Weliston yelled as he pulled out a gun and aimed it at Kyle's forehead.
"What're you gonna do? Shoot me?"
"No, follow me to the nearest gas chamber."
"Wait what?"
Weliston grabbed Kyle and immediately dragged him to a sound proof and air proof room. Kyle tried to get out but Weliston shut the door too fast.
"Hey! What're you guys planning?!"
"We modified laughing gas to be more hypnotic, hence the sound proof room because you'll laugh a lot."
"Nooo!!!"
The gas was slowly released as Kyle tried to resist, it was no use, he sniffed the air and had fallen to the gas' effects.
Meanwhile...
"Hey, Arkin. Come on, dinner's ready!" yelled Hans. Arkin was thinking about what could've happened to Kyle, he still couldn't shake off the feeling he was still alive somewhere. Arkin got up and found his friends eating on a table, he got a chair and prepared his food.
"Hey John, Justin." called Arkin
"What is it?" They replied while munching on beans.
"You ever think Kyle's out there?"
"Remember, dude. Hans told us he saw Kyle get impaled and die because of a long metal pole, why would he lie to us if it wasn't true?" Justin said
"We can't just trust him like that, all he did was give us a place to eat in."
"And eat we did." John replied
"What I'm saying is that, there is a chance he's lying."
"Get over it, Ark. He's dead." They both said
Arkin gave up and began to eat.
