I sat on the bus beside Mara. I felt myself drift along the smoothness of the road. Everyone stared at me intensely. Everyone's eyes filled with such a look. A look I can't really describe. A look of insanity, with a little bit of a pleading mixed in.

"So, I've swapped lives?" I asked. Mara shrugged.

"No? Sort of. I can't really explain lots, because I would be in big trouble. But just know that you aren't in your original body." I was furious with Mara now. She then basically lied to me when we were waiting for the bus.

"You lied to me! You told me you would tell me everything about what's going on" Mara laughed the strangest laugh I've ever heard. I didn't want to hear that sound come from anyone's mouth ever again.

"Don't worry, you don't need to know that stuff right now, only when it starts to show." I'm so confused. But I suddenly didn't have enough energy to ask anymore.

"Well then, can you at least tell me why you're here then?"

"Nope." She popped the p. "But I was created by you, can't say to much else."

"What does that even mean?!" Mara chuckled right as the bus came to an abrupt stop. Like she knew that would happen.

"You'll see"

I didn't question anything. I just hopped off the bus and followed Mara through the school halls. Everything was wrecked, trashed and covered with some smelly brown stains. The smell was overwhelming and I couldn't handle it for much longer.

"Tell me Lola, do you mind blood?" Mara's voice suddenly spoke, shaking me a little, but I shook it off. Honestly, I hated the smell of blood because it makes me nauseous. But I didn't respond the way I wanted.

"I don't really care" Mara turned back around and I heard her chuckle. She knew that wasn't what I wanted to say, but when alone with it.

"Good, because you're going to be seeing a lot of it." Mara started to walk faster than before. My heart started to speed up and I started to feel nervous, but I didn't complained, and followed behind Mara. I felt a cold breeze drift pass me as I gripped the sides of my jeans and dug my nails into the material. My hands were sweating, even though they are very cold. Anxiety am I right?

We kept walking and more and more blood was layered on the walls and on the floor. The smell hovered around me and all I could smell was the disgusting scent of rotting blood.

"Doesn't this school have a janitor" I questioned. Mara suddenly looked annoyed.

"That old geezer. Yeah, the school did. But he died" I didn't know how to respond.

Suddenly I saw someone coming around the corner. He was pretty tall, around 6'1 and he had a swished back brown hair with very forest green eyes. Someone was behind him as well. He was a little shorter, only 5'11 and dirty blond hair the colour of fading sunflowers, and chestnut brown eyes with loads of cute little freckles. The guy with green eyes noticed me and instantly smiled. I cringed.

"Lola! You're back!" He ran right up to me and hugged me. I was incredibly short and was crushed under his very tall body. I was shocked. I normal like hugs but I didn't like this guy touching me, not one bit.

"Hey J-James, maybe you should let her g-go." The freckles kid said quietly. He seemed like the quite type. How does he even survive here. The kid named James let go of me and backed up. He seems like a cheerful person. I scoffed a little. James then opened his big mouth and continued.
