It has been years since the youngest among the farmers had gone missing. A young blond haired boy. Nobody knew, where he last time moved, or where he went. Just that after he disappeared, people in the village gifted them a scarecrow.

They called it the Hayseed. Hayseed has been there for years. Sometimes some children walked past the fields, and they could swear it moved, or was gone. Nobody knew how or why. And were these stories even true? Because the farmers of the farm never saw it moving, or missing.A large farmer, Mako, was working on the field that day, checking the crops and pulling out weeds.

Everything was normal. Birds were singing, flowers blooming. But he felt like something... Was of. Like something staring. He stood up and looked around, hoping to catch whatever was staring at him. There was nothing else than Hayseed. He looked at it for a while. He could swear its head twitched. Mako walked closer to it, touching it's face slightly. It was completely still. But he could notice something terrifying. His goggles of eyes had a slight glow. Mako stepped back a bit.

"What the hell...?" The glow faded, like it never were there. Mako stared at the scarecrow, backing away. Its arms twitched. Mako gasped and turned, starting to run. One of the youngest on the farm looked at Mako. "Mako? What is wrong?" He asked. "I saw it!" He yelled. "Hayseed moved!" "What?!" Hanzo shouted. "Are you sure?!""Yes!" Mako panted. "H-how?!" He asked. "It's arm twitched and it's eyes glowed." Mako tried to catch his breath. "What...?! We need to tell to the others!" Hanzo said. Mako nodded, still short of breath. "Just give me a moment..." "Breath." Hanzo said. Mako breathed deeply, catching his breath. "Lets go." Hanzo said, walking towards the main house. Mako followed him, glancing behind him every now and then in paranoia.

They got to the main building, the masters of the farm were sitting, reading the news papers. Jesse sipped his coffee, yawning a bit. "Damn I'm tired..." He rubbed his eyes. "Listen up everyone!" Hanzo shouted, running in. Everyone looked up to him. ''Tell them.'' Hanzo said. "I saw it. Hayseed moved." Mako looked scared. ''What?!'' Jack asked, dropping the newspapers on the floor.Mako nodded a bit. "It really moved." Reyes and McCree stood up, looking at the big man. ''You are joking, right?'' Morrison asked. "I wish I was..." Mako rubbed his eyes. "It's eyes glowed and it's arm moved." Everyone in the room got shivers. ''But why now? It has been three years there, in the field so why now...?'' Morrison asked. "The kids've been saying it moved for those years." McCree pointed out.

Soon they heard screaming from outside. McCree ran outside, everybody else following right behind. There was a kid running from the field. He seemed panicked. McCree ran to him. "What is it?!" ''I-it spoke! H-Hayseed mumbled something!'' He cried. Mako frowned. "It's getting worse..." McCree pat the kid's head. "Go home kid." ''Y-Yes mr. McCree.'' The kid said, running home."Lets go." McCree ran towards the field. Reyes stayed behind to make sure the kid got home safe, while mako walked towards Hayseed. Hanzo followed. They circled around the scarecrow. Hayseed stayed still. Mako poked it a bit. Its eyes got a slight glow.

Hanzo stared at it. ''T-tell me this is a prank?!'' He panicked. Mako looked scared. "I told you!" Hanzo looked at McCree, as the glow stopped. McCree looked back at him. "We need to take it down.' He whispered. "Put it in the basement or something." ''Or should we just... Burn it...?' Hanzo whispered."I want to know what it's deal is.' McCree argued. ''But if we put it into the basement it'll-!'' "We won't let it break anything." Mako mumbled. Soon Hayseed rose its head. Mako jumped and stepped farther away. McCree moved his hand to his gun, ready to shoot. Jack almost fell down, as Hanzo did fall down. ''I-It truly is alive!'' He stuttered. The Hayseed mumbled something creepy.

It said. ''Mako... Mako... Mako...'' Mako tensed, staring at it. "What the hell?!" ''W-we need to get out of here!'' Jack said, as Hayseed moved its feet. He was tied up tightly. "It can't move." McCree assured him. "It's tied up tight." Hayseed then went still, like nothing had happened. Mako stared at it. It was now a normal scarecrow. Very creepy one, but it was still. McCree touched it, but it only felt normal. "What the fuck..." He whispered. Mako walked all the way around it. It still felt weird as ever. "It feels like it's watching me' mako whispered. Jack nodded slightly. ''I think its glaring all of us...' He whispered.

Mako touched it lightly.Glow in its eyes looked at him. Mako flinched back, looking basically like a scared kid. The glow followed him. ''Ma...ko...'' He said with raspy voice. "W-what?" Mako asked, trying to look confident. ''Ma...Ko...'' It said. "What is it?" Mako asked. ''Help... Me... Down...'' "Why?" He shivered.

''Help... Me...'' "I don't even know you." Mako frowned. ''Help... Me...'' "What are you?" Mako asked. ''J-...J...'' He waited, just staring at the creature. ''Ja-... I.. Can't... Remember...'' Mako growled a bit. ''Ja... Mako... Only... Names....'' "I'm not going to free you until you give a good reason." Mako replief. McCree nodded. "It might kill somebody..."''Mako... Mako... Mako...'' It whispered. "Stop saying my name!" Mako yelled. He looked afraid. Then the Hayseed looked at the others. ''No-one... remembers... my... name...'' "Your name's Hayseed." McCree huffed. ''No... Who was I... Alive...'' "Ya ain't ever been alive."

''Wait...'' Hanzo said, he looked terrified as ever. ''Ja... Alive... C-could it?!!'' He panicked. "What is it darlin'?" Jesse looked at Hanzo ''Could that be him...?' He whispered above breath. "Who?" ''Jamie...'' He said. McCree looked at the scarecrow. The scarecrow looked at everyone. ''Jamie... Thats...'' Mako growled a tiny bit. ''Me name...'' He mumbled. "He can't be Jamison." ''Me name...'' Mako looked at him. "How could you be him? He went missing 3 years ago!" ''And when did we get Hayseed?'' Hanzo asked. "Three years ago." McCree answered. "But he can't be Jamie!" Mako argued. ''We got Hayseed few days after he went missing...'' Hanzo said. He took a deep breath. ''Take off the mask.' He whispered. McCree inched closer to the creature, being very cautious. The eyes glowed brighter. McCree took out his gun and aimed at the creature. "One wrong move and ya get a bullet, partner." Hayseed nodded slightly. He grabbed the edge of the mask and looked at Hanzo. "Ya sure?" Hanzo looked down. ''No... But have we ever removed the mask?'' He asked.
