Blessings's point of view.
I woke up this morning and Chris's friend and his son were here. Justin's like 12. After waking up I took a shower and stuff. Then got dressed because according to Chris we were flying to New York today and hanging around the city. I've learned my lesson about Walking around too long in Timbs... so instead I wore special edition Simpsons converse (an/ I have those :) ) Light denim jeans and a grey sweatshirt with Bart Simpson on it to match the shoes. I take my hair out the rods and Put in my hair lotion, frizz control spray and my holding spray for my curls. I finish it off with a white headband. When I get downstairs, Chris, Justin, and Theron are downstairs watching Tv.
"It took you long enough." Justin says
"Shut up."
He laughs and stands up, hugging me. For a 12 year old he's pretty tall.. But then again for a 9 year old I'm pretty tall....
"Good morning to you too." Chris says.
"Morning Daddy... Morning Theron." I say.
"Hey Mini lock." Theron hugs me and then I hug my dad
"So, you ready?" Chris ask, examining my outfit.
"Yea."
His eyes travel down to my fingers and he eyes my wrist?
So let's recap, so After the whole hospital Thing, There's was one day when Chris suprised me with a charm bracelet, it was 24K gold, I was shocked he trusted me with it. So I put it on, one day I took it off at home and couldn't find it.
"So umm.... Bless where's your bracelet?"
"Um, upstairs...it didn't really match my outfit."
"....Ok." he says suspenseful.
"Justin, Blessing were taking the black Benz. Y'all can go get in."
"Aii." Justin says.
I'm really hoping Chris doesn't go upstairs and in my jewelry box to check for the bracelet.
When we get outside Justin immediately starts grinning at me.
"What?"
"You lost that shit didn't you?"
"Watch your mouth.... never thought I'd hear myself say that.. but yes I did."
"Oh snap! how many Karats?"
"24."
His jaw drops
"My mom almost killed me when I lost 50$ last week, do you know how much 24k cost? I don't know what Chris Is about, but I'd start digging my own grave." Justin says laughing
"Look I lost it in the house, its somewhere."
"You better hope so."
It not long before Chris and Theron come and we leave.
