A wave of panic enveloped Matt and he began to stutter.

"H-hey y/n." He greeted.

He turned the phone to Ryan. "Here's Ryan."

Ryan got closer to Matt but turned his attention back to his DS.

"I like the glasses!" You said, studying his face.

His face flushed pink. "T-thanks."

"Why are you outside?" You asked.

"Waiting for the bus." Ryan answered.

"Speak of the devil." Matt said. "Bus is here."

"Call when you get home?" You asked.

Matt smiled and nodded. "See you then!"

The boys boarded the bus, sitting together like always. Matt's lanky legs barely fitting in the seat.

"God I wish I could just walk home." Matt commented.

"Well you could, it would just take a while." Ryan said.

Matt sighed.

y/n P.O.V

You threw yourself into your many pillows on your bed as soon as Matt hung up, creating a nest of sorts to wait in as you awaited his return.

Matt was cuter than you expected, you thought he would be some nasty weirdo like some of the other guys you had met before.

You began to drift to sleep when the ringing of your phone jerked you awake.

You quickly made yourself look acceptable and clicked accept.

You saw Matt's smiling face, he was putting down his bag from school.

"Hey!" He greeted.

"What's up?" You responded.

"Boutta relax, browse the internet."  He said.

Then you remembered.

"WHERE IS BANANA." You exclaimed, a little louder than you meant.

"Wow, now I know your true intentions." Matt joked.

He picked up the orange cat and held him up beside his face.

You began to screenshot them, giggling as you did so.

"What are you laughing at?" Matt asked, your laughter was contagious as he began to laugh too.

"You! And your cute little cat!" You exclaimed.

Matt smiled, you admired his dimples, every detail of his face. He was adorable.

You pulled the blankets up to your chin and got comfortable, repositioning your phone so Matt still had a good angle of you.

"That looks cozy." He pointed out.

Matt's camera was pointed at Banana as the cat rubbed against his hands.

"Hey little man." Matt said to the cat. Apparently Banana was then fed up with the petting, as he suddenly attacked Matt's hand. Matt recoiled and squealed, causing you to laugh.

"You're stupid Watson"
