You sighed and put down your phone. Maybe you should hang out with someone in person for once.

You stared around your room at the flags adorning your ceiling and your walls covered in art, hardly any wall itself showing.

You picked up your phone again and opened SnapChat, browsing through who was online.

Nobody was there, so you just decided to go for a walk.

You threw on some tattered vans and went out into the sunshine, it was about mid spring so the weather wasn't the worst. There wasn't even a breeze which was a bonus.

You began to take photos of things, flowers, birds, landscapes. It made you feel happy. But part of you wished Matt were there.

You wanted to take him on your walks, take photos of him in the sunshine, make flower crowns for him. You were lost in thought.

The rest of your time outside felt like a blur. You picked up some food from the local Tim Hortons and headed home, looking at the time it was already evening.

"Wow, time really does fly." You said to yourself.

Your sister sat at the table, working on some sort of homework while your two brothers sat on the couch playing smash.

You sat down beside your older brother, Brandon who was mashing away at his Nintendo Switch controller. Eventually, joining in.
