You woke up parked at a gas station or corner store of sorts. Casey was just leaving the car to follow the rest of your family.

It was a 7 11, might as well get snacks while you were there.

You got up and exited the van, stretching out your sore and stiff legs the best you could. God you hated long car rides.

You stretched your arms above your head and followed your family inside the corner store.

A bored looking woman sat behind the counter, chewing gum and staring off into the distance, ever so often you could hear her pop a bubble in her mouth.

You walked down the aisles, gazing at the freezers, grabbing a Gatorade and ringing it up at the till.

Your family met you back in the car and it was about an hour until you were at your family's house. The sun was already starting to set.

You stared out the window, taking occasional sips of your Gatorade. Listening to your brothers scream along to the radio.
