"Woman, get moving!" Said the deep voice behind me. I jerked. "Why was it so hard for you to wake up early? You're taking too much time in the bathroom that's why!"

I didn't answer instead I just rolled my eyes secretly.

He's so grumpy today.

Well, what's new Bea?  He's been nothing but an asshole since we got back from our Baguio trip.  I don't even know why? Mr. nice guy at school and mr grouchy at home. He's living a double life I guess, sucks to be him. I wonder if his friends knows about it. Poor them.

"Mooommm, si kuya he's picking on ate Bea again! Look, He's so mean! Like everyday!" Little lady shouted at our back. We are both surprised.

"Really Dani did you have to shout like that?" He asked his sister glaring and little lady just sticked her tongue out. She's so cute.

"Meanie! Sungit mo kay ate Bea, ewan ko sa iyo kuya! Come on ate, Let's go down!" She grabbed my hand and we made our way to the hallway and down to the dining area.

"Kuya stop it! Ang aga aga!" Came Auntie Mozzy's voice to rescue. Phew! So much love coming from them unlike this monster infront of me! I giggled inside. Monster eh?. "Kids come down now and have breakfast, we're waiting you know!"

Breakfast was uneventful too. He's glaring and all but I disregarded it. The funny thing was his kid sister was glaring at him too.

"Hey Bea," my classmate Denice called. She was beautiful with her big brown eyes and wearing a sweet smile.

"Oh hey Denice! I thought I'm going to be late." Slumping on my chair beside her.

"Why? You late getting up?" She smiled knowingly. "I bet you got tired of training yesterday."

"Kinda," I winked at her. "Ugh, Good thing we don't have early practice today."

"Good,  have you had breakfast then?"

"Fortunately yeah, though he was too much this morning I still had the appetite. Thank God!"

"He? Your dad's home?" She asked, curiously.

"Oh no, no! Not my dad. Just someone who's so annoying ..."

"Oh okay, but you know .. shit he's here!" She became quite after, sitting up straight like .. I looked at the tall man who just entered that her eyes are tailing.

It's Isaac, he's from the basketball team and that annoying monster tailing him. We're all classmates for today's first subject. How convenient.

Wait let's go back to Denice, I didn't asked her yet but I have a hunch before that she liked Isaac, the big guy. I'm so sure now. She was acting weird since classes began. Ice sat beside me and him sat beside Den.

"Hi Bei! Good morning!" Isaac, yeah whispered. He's friendly and nice. I like him, like a friend of course.

" 'Mmm Morning!" I answered back.

"I see your not friendly today."

"Ssh, can't you see I'm listening."

He chuckled, took out his phone and he typed something. My phone vibrated.

"Hey, wanna have lunch?"

Wait what? Did he just ask me out?

"Did you just ask me out?"

"Well yeah, got a problem with that? 😂"

"Ah yeah, 😏"

"Hey, it's just me, a friend asking."

"Shut up! What friend? 🙄"

"Plain friend. Don't be so coy!🙄"

"😒😒😒😒"

"Fine, sorry. 😜!"

"I'll say yes if, you'll agree to my term.."

"What is?"

"Say yes first, please?! 🤪"

"You're one tough lady... YES! Happy now?"

"Certainly, thanks! 😎"

I was probably caught up with our texting when a text from someone who's grumpy this morning.

"Stop texting!"

"You stop texting!"

I got annoyed but I hid my phone.

"Hey!" I called him. He was waiting outside the Lib building. "Sorry caught up with something.!"

"It's fine. Let's go?" He was ready to go but

"Wait up Ice,.."

Puzzled as his eyes are questioning me..
"Remember my term?"

"Yeah,,"

"About that,..."

"Hi sorry I'm late.!" Denice.

"Nope!" Popping the P, " You're on time!"

Den became shy as she looked at him. And the guy was scratching the back of his dead, and smiling.

"Isaac I want you to meet my friend..."

"Denice... yeah I know classmate.." he acknowledged
However Den turned bright red. Ugh this girl.

"She's coming with us. She's my friend."

The guy nodded. "Figured. So ladies let's go?"

I walked near Isaac and me holding Den on my other side. He was talking about something and I laughed at it. Little did I know, a pair of glaring eyes saw us.
