My third day straight of work and Im feeling exhausted already. I was here at work at 4:45. I kind of sleep late last night like at 11:30 coz my best friend decided to call late. After getting yogurt outside, we continued our little convo, me and Dani in my room. The parents are still downstairs really catching up.

I'm cheering myself because tomorrow's my offday. Hurray!

"Morning Bei!" John, my co worker.

"Hi, morning to you too, Johny." Answering him.

"Hey, you are so digging the guy yesterday."

"I am not that obvious, wasn't I?"

"Girl, with the kind of look you gave him, he totally got it." He patted my back.

"Shut up!" I told him, smiling.

That was nothing. I don't think I'll ever get to see him again . The next few hours we gone busy. Then came afternoon, around 1 ish. I was so surprised to see him next in line. My heart was racing. So I tried to talk to him casually., yikes Bea, your bff would laugh at you.

Be still heart! What's happening to you?

He ordered his usual iced caffee americano and sat at the corner end facing my left side. I was so nervous again, while getting his drinks. Too bad I can't keep up on him coz of it would've been so obvious. Plus we get customers already.

Ugh, the perks!

Exactly 2:05 I got out of the shop on the other side

and there...

he was...

The guy that kind of creating havoc to my young heart, was outside.

Pretty obvious waiting for someone...

Uh oh...

Don't assume self, he was waiting for his friends if he gets..I was going to walk past him when he approached me.

"Hi!" He greets and at the same time scratching his neck.

What the heck is happening? Was this even real? I looked at him wide eyed. "D-did you j-just..?" Don't stutter! Not now.

"I'm afraid I did.." Now he looked adorable. A little only. We moved to the side because we're blocking the way. Tourists are walking past us.

"May I help you?" I asked, not sure why we suddenly got in speaking terms,

"uh, yeah, I know you knew I'm a Filipino..right?"

Now what? I was looking at him mixed with disbelief and surprised. I gotta give him a thumbs up for his courage to approach me. A smile creeping into my lips, " It's just a hunch."

"Well you're hunch's right." He smiled.

"Guess so."

"Uh, so you're.?"

"I'm a local."

He nodded, "an Island girl huh?!"

I smiled and nodded. I fixed my bag, " Yeah..." ready to leave.

"Wait up!" He held my arm. And for the life of me I felt a little current. Hmm that's odd. "Can I, uh , invite you for a snack? Or late lunch? I promise I am not a bad person." Whoa, he was blushing and that was a smooth way to ask for a girl, lol... "That is if you aren't rushing?"
