He left the room while I'm still in shock and a wild beating heart... I don't understand, but it's getting worse...and I thought I'm done with it?
"Bea!! Oh my god!" I looked back at the door, Auntie was kinda emotional. "We all believed you can do it, And you did it. We're very proud of you Bea."
I frown at auntie coz I can't follow her lead, ... but when Dani came barging in and shouting with joy "Ate Bei, congratulations! You're now a Lady Eagle!"
Okay... say what?
Lady Eagle, you mean?
"Oh my...." I find myself in between them, giving me a tight hug...they let go. Auntie was now in tears and Dani was smiling.
"Congratulations anak!"
"Thanks auntie, I... don't know what to say..but when?.." I was screaming inside... shit!
"Oh not too long ago, the school called me."
I'm crying, Fishing out my phone Uncle Bong entered the room. He hugs me. "Congratulations Bea," I hug him back,
"Thanks uncle."
"Come on, we have to report today in the school." I realized auntie was dressed already, I dialled my dad's number. He answered right away.
"Dad, mom I got in. Would you believe that? I am now a Lady Eagle."
"We know sweetheart. And congratulations! You made us proud again." Dad,
"We're very happy for you sweetie. We wanted to celebrate with you but how can?" Mom's in tears again. A happy tears.
"Thanks parents. Wait, how did you even...?" I tried asking, but Auntie pointed me her phone, she's in FaceTime with them, Dani was holding it.
"Hi ate Bei, say hi to tito and tita."
I laughed and shook my head. They're really advance in everything. Scary, lol.. " I should've known..."
Soon laughters filled my room.

That's what Coach Tai been telling us... and yeah, I really made it to the team. And the best part of it? I am one of the starting 6. My two ohanas are very happy for me. My parents are even planning their vacation for next year already to come see me play. I am blessed. Im going to make them more proud of me. They've help me for this opportunity and I ain't going to let them down. I'll strive more.
Growing up in Honolulu, I love watching volleyball. Be it indoor or the beach. My parents or my brother would take me to the tournaments being held in the Island. And of course whenever they're not busy.... and as a beach lover my friends and I loves to play the game in the sand. I have the best partner of course my best friend, Lehaina. We really rock it, and even won tournaments together.
"Bea?" It was my captain, Alyssa. Stopping me from my thoughts. We are sitting side by side, the others are talking to each other and some are on their phones. We just finished practicing a game play with the guys team.
"Yeah?" I looked at her and the phenom lady smiled. I love her. The day Auntie Mozzy and I went here regarding the call, she was the very first one to welcome me in the team eventhough the coaching staff didn't talk to me yet. So that very same night she was with us too for a dinner with the family.
