Chapter 17

★ Chapter 17 ★

Waking up in Claude's arms was more than just awkward for me. So, I found myself sneaking into Lance's room instead. I never felt awkward around him then again how could I with what happened between us. He was laying on his back with his head shoved in the pillow. It was kind of cute how he slept.

"Lance!", I whispered.

"Lance! Psst! Wake up!", I poked his shoulder.

"Rabbi, I'm sleeping.", he mumbled into his pillow.

"I know, but..."

I wanted to spend time with him. He would take my mind off of the red eyes and Claude's weird behavior.

"Come here.", he held out his hand.

I took it hesitantly,"What do you want with my hand?"

He pulled me to the bed,"Now, shut up and sleep.", he trapped me with his leg.

That's what Claude always says.

"Okay.", I whispered closing my eyes.

I was in a dark room with my arms chained to the ground. I tried to adjust my eyes,but the was no light. I must have been taken. Bonnie found me and now she'll probably kill me. I guess we really aren't best friends anymore.

"Wake up! I said wake up you idiots!"

I opened my eyes,"Claude?"

"Damn it! We didn't lock the door.", Lance chuckled softly.

"Lance, shut up! Rabbit, go get dressed! We're sending my grandfather off."

I quickly got off the bed and ran to his room.

"She's having visions Claude, you need to watch over her. If she is her,she's not safe."

Claude nodded,"But, how can we be sure?"

"Look into her past, for all we know she could be one of Lila's."

Who the hell was Lila? Vampire hearing came in handy when you were trying to eavesdrop. They thought I was in the other room 'socializing', but I was just around the corner listening to every word they said. They thought I was her, too. Would they want to kill me like The Bad Ones?

A hand was put over my mouth," You're not meant to be hearing any of that."

It was Sarafina, smiling at me with her evil grin. I don't care if I don't have proof, I know she's evil. My dream showed me it. She's the one I need to be aware of, she's working with them. She must have let them in,it was her fault they would all be killed.

"Come with me,you're supposed to be in the other room meeting the others.", she pulled me away.

Now, that I actually met some vampires they aren't that bad. In my head I pictured them has ruthless monsters, but in reality they were just like us. I mean just like humans. I don't think I'll ever get used to referring to myself has anything,but human. I could be friends with these people. Like Rachel she was kind and sweet. She reminded me of Bonnie and how I would imagine she would be like has a vampire.

"So, you're having visions of The Bad Bloods huh?", Sarafina questioned.

I shock my head," No, it was just a bad dream."

"Uh huh, and what are these 'bad dreams' about?"

Should I tell her?

"Like you said they're about The Bad Ones."

"But, what are they about?"

"Just them killing people, I've been reading a lot about them. I guess that's why I'm starting to have bad dreams."

"Maybe."

An arm was placed on my shoulder bringing me closer to them, "Now,Fina, why are you bothering 2.0?"

"I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about."

I tuned to him," She wasn't bothering me", I looked back at her," Just making polite conversation."

"See, you have nothing to worry about.", She walked away.

"How'd you ever cross paths with her?", Rachel asked," She's vile."

"She was in Claude's room when I first got here."

Bryan scoffed," She's obsessed with him. I wouldn't be surprised if she was stealing his underwear."

"Trust me I've seen his underwear and there's nothing worth taking."

"Talking about me again are you?", Lance pulled me away from Bryan sending him a glare.

"You know you shouldn't be talking about our personal business with others. It's already bad enough that Claude knows about it.", he joked.

"You're with him.", Rachel asked shocked.

"No, she's with Claude.",Bryan glared.

"Of course, she's with me, Rach.", Lance laughed.

"Come in Rabbit let's go.", Claude demanded with his usual scowl.
