Chapter 19

★ Chapter 19 ★

The thought of the ice rink was exciting , but now that we were actually there I was nervous. Rachel and Bryan forgot to mention that we would have to go to where humans lived to go to one. I haven't been near a human since I was turned besides the feeders and they didn't count to me. These were real humans,humans that had no idea what we were or that we existed.

They were me before this all happened. What if I killed one of them? Just one step inside was enough for me to go rigid. I don't know if I'll be able to stay here very long. It was like my lungs were on fire. Breathing through my mouth helped ,but I don't know how long it would last. Rachel and Bryan promised that they would make sure nothing would happen. But, I was a young blood, it would be hard for them to control me.

"Relax, I'm here. I won't let you kill anyone.", Bryan squeezed my hand has we skated.

"Rachel seems to be enjoying herself.", I pointed over at her charming a few human boys.

"Don't worry about her, she knows when to stop."

"Will she feed from them?"

"Maybe,but she can handle herself."

"But, they're human."

"The feeders are human."

"They want it though. These humans have no idea."

"They won't remember and it won't hurt them."

I nodded.

"Now, tell me about you and Lance."

"Me and Lance?"

"Don't act coy, I already know you had sex. I'm asking, if it's more than that?"

I paused," I don't know. I care for him, I know that. But, I don't know what I feel.", I looked up at him.

"What about Rachel?"

"Rachel? She's like a kid sister. I'm seventy years older than her."

I cringed," Can we not talk about your age?"

"Why does it make you uncomfortable?", he smirked.

"No, it just makes me feel gross. All my friends are old people."

"You'll be old too."

"We'll deal with that later. Right now I'm still just eighteen."

"Just a babe."

"Shut up-", I froze.

I could smell it. I looked around and focused my eyes on it. It'd be easy for me to take it. They were just humans I could take him somewhere and they wouldn't even notice. It'd be so easy.

"2.0"

"Mary! Look at me!"

He turned my head,"Mary, you can't do it. Remember, you don't want to kill them?"

I laughed," Bry, I don't have to kill him."

He grabbed my arm,"Come on, we need to go."

I moved my arm out of his and walked toward the boy that fell," You go."

"Rachel!"

I was about three feet away from getting what I wanted when they both got a hold of me. I felt like I couldn't breath, my whole body was craving his blood. It was calling to me. If only they could understand! I don't want to kill him, I just want his blood.

"Look at me.", Bryan put his hand on my face.

"I just want a little taste."

"We need to get her in the car!"

"Rachel! Shut up!", he turned back to me,"Mary, did you feed today?"

"I will if you let me go!"

"She's strong, Bryan do something!"

"Rachel, go get the car ready."

"But, she-"

"I can handle her, she won't hurt me."

Once Rachel was gone Bryan tried to calm me down more, but I couldn't. He didn't understand, that boy's blood was calling to me. I needed to answer to it. Once I had a bite it would stop.

"Fuck it!", Bryan moved his collar to the side," Bite me Mary."

His blood was nothing like I've ever tasted. Human's blood was good,but vampire's blood was incredible! I sunk my fangs deeper into his neck for a better grip. He didn't complain at all. It actually sounded like he was enjoying it too.

"Are you guys making ou-", I heard a gasp,"You're not supposed to be doing that!"

Did she really have to come back now? She was turning into Sarafina, couldn't she just wait a few minutes before interrupting?

Damn!

I drank one last gulp before looking back up at her," Well, you're not supposed to either. Come back when the cars ready.", I turned and stared into Bryan's eyes.

"It is!", she put her arms between us.

We both hissed.

" Just go.", Bryan whispered.

"Whatever! I'm sitting with the driver! I definitely don't want to hear your moans!"

"Come on.", Bryan whispered into my ear before walking me to the car.

"Remember, to use a condom, you can get her pregnant now!", Rachel shouted before putting the wall up.

I couldn't take my eyes off of Bryan has I sat on his lap. It's like we couldn't keep our hands off of each other. I wanted to feed from him again. I wanted him, all of him. I really hope he did have a condom.

"You have one, right?", I asked between kisses.

"Shit!"

I shook my head," It doesn't matter.", I reached for his pants.

He grabbed my hand,"No, if I get you pregnant Claude will kill me. If he doesn't kill me for letting you feed from me that is."

I sucked on my bite mark,"Doesn't matter."

The plane ride was even more excruciating. Does no one fuck around here!? Seriously, we checked...everywhere. Rachel was more than pissed at us. I couldn't decide if it was the fact that Bryan let me bite him or that we couldn't stay off of each other , but either way I didn't care right now.

"We're here hornballs! I'm not going to be the one to tell Claude what happened Bryan!"

Sneaking to Bryan's room proved to be an even more difficult task then finding condoms was. If only we all had a separate house and didn't live together. But, once we did get to his room it was worth the trouble. I could care less about how Claude is going to react. There's only one thing I care about right now.
