"... but it not everyday we see that happen."
Blurry sound and internal darkness.
"I know but.."

"His finger is moving! He awaking..."

I opened my eye suddenly. My vision was blurred by the sudden contact with light and my head was shaking with pain. My ears ringed in an unpleasant sound and I sat up lethargically.

"Are you okay?"

My vision improved and I see a man and a woman shape standing at the end of the bed I'am sitting on. It was the blonde back from yesterday, or whatever day since I don't know how long I have faint. But next to her was a shape of a man, skinny and clumsy with messy auburn hair. The man looked at me and opened his mouth, trying to say something but reluctantly.

"Are...are you okay?"

I looked at my hip and saw a tight piece of cloths wrapped around it. It was colored with reddish, fresh blood. A pain strike me instantly as I try to move a bit. I can feel my flesh burning under the cloth.

"Don't try anything hard on yourself."- the man spoke up.

"Bloody hell, how long had I been fainted?"

"You was found yesterday when something red lighted the sky. We when to see what it is and found you and some other. Only you were alive and so we bring you back here for our healer to medicate you immediately."- the man answered quietly- "What happened to your friends and you?"

"That not my friend, nor friendly. They were scavenger and raider. And they captured my only friend on the ship..."

"That the main concern because these raider do not appear to be from any of the island in this archipelago." - the blonde woman interrupts me.

"But do you see any ship sailing aways? Any sign of raider ship when you come and check my ship?"

"The storm blocked our vision, those raider are smart cause they use the storm as a cover to get away." Replied the auburn haired men.

"It is my fault to let my guard down, I'm such a terrible friend and partner. Only if I can do anything more." I burst out in anger.

"Don't feels sorry, it's not your fault." The man reassure me.

"Well what is your name, my savior?" I asked in a thankful voice.

"Call me hiccups, and this is Astrid."

I shook his hand as he reached his arm toward me.

"The healer says that you only have to stay until tomorrow. Your wounds is not seriously bad and the powder the healer gave you stopped the bleeding and prevent infection. We will have to go now so feel free to get some rest, if anything wrong just ringed the bell next to you."

Hiccup left, followed by Astrid. I sighed and look around the small room I was in. The wall was made out of wood and there was only 2 furniture - a cupboard and a desk. My mind was filled with questions. Why do you name yourself hiccup? what year am I in now? Who are these people and how do they tamed and ride dragons? What should I do now?"

I stayed inside the house to rest for another day. The healer, which to my surprise was a small old woman who has staff that she use to communicate, give me some mixture to ease my pain every 2 hours. The mixture were pure magic, it fasten the natural healing of human body and I could feel no pain after the final night I have to stay.

The next morning, I was extracted into the main hall to be questioned by Astrid.

The hall were surrounded with Viking, chatting and discussing about the appearance of an outsider. Dragons were there too. Some of them nesting on the window near the ceiling. The whole scenes was a chaos and when I walk in, all the eye turned toward my shape as I being walked by Astrid to the chairs placed opposite the podium. Hiccup, along with an auburn haired and round face woman walked onto the podium and order everyone to be silent.
