"Jenny!" Adam immediately shouts, running to her. Kevin whips around and only then notices her lying on the floor.

The two boys run over to her without a care of the world.

When I reach the pavement, Kevin is already dialing 911 and Adam is kneeling down next to Jenny, asking if she's okay and if she can hear him. That just makes me feel worse.

How could you care about a girl who doesn't care enough about you, that she would come all the way across town to attend a club?

I take a step back from the commotion of people gathering around them and with a wobbly balance, I pull myself together and sit down on a bench nearby.

A few minutes later an ambulance car pulls up in front and two men jump out. The crowd of people make a pathway for the men to take Jenny onto a stretcher. Kevin and Adam get into the ambulance car, completely forgetting I'm there. I stay seated on the bench until I hear my name being called out.

"Alexis? Why the hell are you sitting there?" Kevin shouts, waving his hand.

"Because of all the commotion," I reply dully.

"What are you doing? Get on the ambulance!" I can see Adam rolling his eyes.

"Okay," I answer. "Wait, what?"

Adam sighs loudly and clenches his jaw. "Get on the freaking ambulance already, or else we're leaving," he says, clearly annoyed. I quickly jump up, ignoring the stares of people and sit squished up next to Kevin on one side with Adam on the other. I stare at the dried blood on Jenny's scalp and forehead, drying it with a tissue from my bag.

As soon as we enter the room that Jenny is to be put in, a doctor starts to measure her blood pressure."Her blood pressure is really low and she is losing blood but not an excessive amount. She is going through syncope since she drank a lot of alcohol. She also has a lack of oxygen but after few treatments and medication she should be doing fine."

"Thank goodness," the boys say at the same time.

"That's good," I comment.

"I need to run a few more tests on her, so please wait outside for a few minutes until I call you back in," he says.

When we walk outside, Adam immediately slumps onto a chair and Kevin remains standing, walking around. They're both thinking excessively about something. My guess would be Jenny.

"I hope she's okay," Kevin says loudly. Adam tilts his head as he looks up at him and frowns.

"Hey," he says. Kevin turns to him, raising his eyebrows. "Why were you with her?"

I stay silent and watch as Kevin opens his mouth to speak, but closes it. He opens it again and says, "Because she's my girlfriend."

I lower my eyes onto the floor since I already knew the fact. Even though Kevin or Jenny didn't say a word, I can tell from their demeanor and the way they act towards each other. No wonder I felt nothing when the doctor said she would be fine. Either I didn't care or I was mad that she played the both of them. Both.

"Sorry? I think I misheard. What did you say?" Adam asks again. Kevin repeats his sentence again, watching him as he slowly stands up from the chair.

"She's not your girlfriend," Adam says, clenching his jaw. "She's my girlfriend."

Kevin starts laughing hysterically, grabbing my arm to keep him steady. I push him away disgustedly, wiping my sleeve. "You... Jenny... girlfriend...."

He bursts out laughing again. Adam comes closer to him and pushes him to the wall harshly by the collar. Kevin immediately stops laughing and looks at him as if he's crazy. "Dude, what are you doing?"
