3:17.
A extremely pale and shaky Michael walks through the door, taking a seat at his usual chair.
"God," He sighs, relaxing into his chair and breathing heavily. "That was a fucking work out."
"I swear I'll never not visit you again. If I do miss another day you can assume I'm very well dead." He laughs. "I can imagine myself slowly wheeling myself to your room in my hospital bed."
He unravels a black and grey striped scarf from around his neck and throws it carelessly behind him, it lands on the floor in a distasteful pile. A small smudge of bright pink was visible from where it was discarded on the floor.
"I'm sweating like a pig and the nurse forces me to wear it." He sighs, crossing his ankles comfortably.
"I'm so sorry I didn't visit last week, my friends decided to 'surprise me.' In other words, they tried to bring a stripper to my hospital room." Despite his bitter tone and head shaking you could see a very fond smile plastered on his face at the thought of the idiotic duo.
"You should have seen Maisie's face when Luke and Ashton walked in with some busty girl in a novelty nurse costume. I probably would have laughed if Roslyn--that little girl who wanted to have a tea party--wasn't there. In the end, my friends joined the tea party. Just stop and imagine that for a second, a little seven year old girl in a pink fairy costume seated at a little plastic kids' drawing table with three insanely tall teenage boys all dressed in black, chowing down on miniature powdered donuts and drinking pink Fanta from tiny little porcelain tea cups. Roslyn was having a blast, asking us questions about everything, but mostly the way we dress. After she did our nails, Ashton was super enthusiastic about it." A rosy blush shades his cheeks as he holds up on of his hands and shows the unconscious boy his nails. "As you can see, I got stuck with 'pretty princess pink' as she calls it."
"Luke's the lucky one, he got 'baby bluebird blue' because it matches his eyes. Ashton got purple." He huffs, leaning his arm's against Calum's hospital bed and accidentally brushing the boy's arm in the process.
"Jesus, you're freezing!"
[A/N: "Jesus, take the wheel!"]
The bright orange haired boy looks around the exceedingly plain hospital room for a blanket to cover the poor boy with. A thin sheet and a hospital gown are all the boy has, even with the thick Australian heat bearing down on him from the window.
"I can't even give you my jacket because you IV's in the way. What kind of gentleman am I?" He sighs. He begins to pull off his faded white sweater, the sweater looked really good on him. The large collar showed off a large amount of collar bone and it constantly fell off one shoulder, its sleeves were long enough to engulf his hands in its fabric.
He settled on draping it over Calum's body. He picked at his white wife beater for a few seconds and bit his lip.
"I should probably get going." He mumbles, heading for the door.
"Goodbye Calum."

11:11.
The door to Calum's hospital room and a bright orange fluff pokes its way in.
"I'm so sorry Calum, I just can't sleep at all. The medication isn't working and there's a burning sensation in my chest that won't go away." Michael whispers, lip quivering as the seventeen year old closes the door behind him and steps further into the room. Looking adorable in dark red plaid pyjama pants and a large black and white 'God save the Sex Pistols' sweater that has long, floppy sleeves.
"Is it okay if I spend the night here?" He asks quietly, nervously playing with the edge of his Spiderman blanket that he'd managed to drag along with him.
"I hope you don't mind, the chairs are super uncomforable." He whispers, crawling in next to the tanned boy. Its a tight squeeze because Calum lays in the middle and there wasn't much space to begin with, but Michael doesn't mind. He uses Calum's shoulder as a pillow because he hadn't brought one.
"Again, I'm sorry, but you're the only one I could go to. I don't want to be put to sleep every night by the nurses at two o'clock in the morning. If I had any friends I would have gone to them but the other patients my age don't really like me for some reason." He pulls his Spiderman blanket up to Calum's chin, tucking it in on his other side.
"I know we're practically strangers but when you're awake and I meet you, I promise I'll try my best to make us the best of friends no matter what. Then you'll be stuck with me forever, no if's, and's or but's." He grins sleepily at the boy next to him.
"Thanks, for helping me sleep." Michael yawns, snuggling into Calum's side and warming the other boy up.
"Goodnight Calum....."
